BLT Check-in Request

My family will be staying at BLT in a 1-Bedroom Lake View villa in early March. Aside from asking for an upper floor, are there any other recommended check-in requests that I should ask for in order to get the best room location possible for this visit?

We've stayed in a BLT 1 BR lake view twice, and loved it!

As for the request, I forget which side of the building, but depending on which side you are (i.e., north or south), some of those lake view rooms actually have a partial view of MK, which we got on one of our trips. We were able to see some of Wishes from our balcony, as well as a view of Space Mountain. Others who post will likely know, or you can try a board search.

I actually liked our other (not MK view) better, as we had a nice view of the monorail, marina, and could see fireworks in the distance (I'm assuming Epcot?). But others love to have a partial MK view when actually staying on lake view points.
