Blowing out 22 candles in Disney World! NEW 8.24 page 25

Great to-do list!! Trying the Grey Goose slushie is on my to-do list too! You should get a picture at the dancing fountains! I always like to do that. :)

Oh, and have a crepe in France. YUM!

I love the fountains! I guess we think alike! :goodvibes

mmmm and the crepes sound good.

Another great list! Like I said up there... make sure try that peach slushie from China! It's amazing and I had like 5 one afternoon. :rolleyes1 And it was so funny, the girl carded me everytime. Haha!

haha how did you know that girl was my favorite?! I totally have an outfit like that too! ;)

That Peach Oolong Tea Schnapps Slushie sounds delish! I will have to try that! Thats wicked funnny that she carded you every time. I guess she wanted to make REAL sure you were 21! :lmao:

Since the Flower and Garden show will be on while you are there, make sure you check out some of the displays. I found a couple had really good spots to chill out in for a bit.

Thanks Megan! I actually totally forgot all about this! They have done such a beautiful job in the past so I'm excited to see it this year. Do you know what the theme is?

I love your to do lists! I've never had a crepe in France, but I did have a chocolate cone and I loved it! Something about feeling like I was eating chocolate ice cream in France... ;) I even ordered in French!

Test track and Soarin'- For Soarin'-ask for the first row! Even if you have to wait a turn. It's worth it.

By the way, I just found out about the new Kim Possible thing going on at Epcot...it sounds really cool!

Thanks girl! Oh a chocolate cone sounds really good about now. Thats awesome you ordered in French!!! My French is so bad I think they would look at me like I was crazy. I'm getting better though!

I love soarin' in the front row! Ohhh and what is the Kim Possible thing?

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It's been freezing here and tonight were gonna get about a foot of snow. I'm really looking forward to spring finally coming! Bring on the warm weather!!!! :cool1:

Thank you all for all your input on my last 2 park to-do lists! Here is the third part...71 more days!

MGM to-do's! (yea I still call it that. Can't get use to DHS)

See the American Idol Experience-I'm a BIG Idol fan and can't wait to see this. I've heard mixed reviews but I'm hoping it's really good.

Ride the Great Movie ride-Hopefully they will be doing the cowboy scene. I've heard about it but sadly only been on when they were doing the mobster.

Hang out at the Animation Acadmey-This is so much fun! Plus you can't beat a free souvie that you created!

Ride ToT-Ok well try and get up enough courage to ride it again

Ride RnR-Same as above

See the HSM3 Pep rally-I missed this last time because Super Soap weekend was going on.

Ride Toy Story Mainia-So much fun! My personal goal is to have a score high enough to show on the "Todays top 3 scores board"!

See Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast-Never seen the first one and B&B is one of my favorite Disney movies.

Ride the boat from MGM to Epcot or the other way around Did this for the first time in November and it's such a nice peaceful boat ride.

So that's my MGM list. Anyone have anything to add?!

The HSM3 pep rally is cute too.

Oh man the tower of terror scares me so bad. I've seriously only been on it like 3 times. I'll try to really talk myself onto it this time.

The more and more I visit this park the more I fall in love with it. The themeing is fantastic and I love how Disney is helping with the animal conservation. It's such a beautiful park over all and there is still so much that I haven't seen or done. Here are my must do's for this park:

-Finding Nemo the musical-Love the music and the whole production!

-It's tough to be a bug 3-d movie

-Conservation Station-Never been to this.

-Maharajah jungle trek-Never don this either.

-Kilimanjaro safari-This is by far my favorite attraction at AK. I love seeing all the animals that I most likely would never see. It's not every day you see those animals walking the streets in NH. :rotfl:

-Expedition Everest-This was down on my last trip so I have to ride a couple times to make up for it!

-Dinosaur-This scares me everytime but it's like tradition I just have to ride!

Special photopass pictures-Thanks Disneyfreak06!

Flights of wonder show- Never seen it before. Thanks for the tip Disneyfreak06!

Animal Kingdom PM EMH-Thanks Tinkgurl!

Festival of the Lion King-Thanks Jewels1916 and bbangel

Well that's my list for AK. Does anyone have anything cool to add? Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

up next- Must do's for outside the parks!

I haven't done it, but you should have a photopass picture done where you *hold* Simba. It looks like such a cute picture. I've never done Conservation Station either or Flights of Wonder. I hear that FoW is a pretty neat show.

Have you ever been to AK during evening EMH's? AK is GORGEOUS at night! :cloud9: Plus, EE is even scarier at night! I actually got so scared I had to hold B/F's hand! It's so much fun. Also, they sometimes do a FOTLK during evening EMH's, so you could wait and do that one then when it shouldn't be as crowded!

Your list looks good, I also love the safari. :goodvibes And I know I've said it before but I am the same way with Dinosaur. It freaks me out but I have to ride it every trip!

Great ideas! Never done either of them!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one whos scared of Dinosaur but who just HAS to ride!

Ohhh have fun in NYC by the way. Can't wait to hear all about it! Happy early Birthday!

Hey girlie! Your AK list looks super fun! I noticed that Festival of the Lion King wasn't on it....I always like it, cause it's super fun, and air-conditioned!!

Festival of the Lion King is a must for me at AK - love that show!

I also like all the hidden little spots in AK. I like grabbing a snack and sitting in the old boat launch area. It tends to be nice and cool in there and is never crowded.

Great idea! I've only seen the show once or twice and it's been a while.

Ohhh whats the boat launch area? I don't think I know where that is. :confused3

Wohooo 2 months from today I will be on a plane and heading to Orlando! I can't believe how fast the time is passing.

Did anyone hear about or join that D23 club yesterday? Here's a link to Allears that talks about the club Click here! I couldn't resist joining. I figure the subscription to the magazine was amost the price of the membership so why not join. If I find that it's not worth it I just wont renew next year. I'm really looking forward to the magazine and reading the articles.

In other news I've come up with my last to do list. It's a mix of outside the parks and Sea World.

Check out the Boardwalk at night-I heard it just comes alive at night with entertainment and Jellyrolls

Take a ride (or 2) on the MGM/Epcot boat-This ride is just so relaxing and it stops at a few resorts along the way.

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard beach-Never been to a WDW waterpark so I'm really excited. I still don't know which one I want to go to yet.

Make a treat at Goofy's candy co-must do for every trip

From Sea World:

Take a ride on Sky Tower-This looks cool it gives you a birds eye view of the park and you can even see WDW from it. It rotates as it lifts you up and spins slowly once you reach the top.
seaworld-sky-tower-b.jpg

Feed as many animals as I can. Dolphins, sting rays, seals-I love sea animals so I can't wait to come up close with them.

Just about everything! :rotfl: -It's so hard since I've never been here (well that I can remember) So what are your must do's?!

Okay trying to bring up my mental map...it's near the turn off for Kali but on the opposite side of the main walkway. So if you were walking from Africa to Asia it would be on your right. You'll see a wooden structure that used to be part of the line for boats that sailed around the AK back in the beginning. Go in there and check it out.
