Us, too...feel the same way.

Of course I was unlucky enough to have a trip during the brief window that they went back to enforcing them. Too bad we couldn't have delayed it a month.

Agreed. My point is that it is a ridiculous press release. They didn’t drop the mask mandate for the vaccinated; they dropped it for everyone. They should just say that.

It's the honor system.

Same system the Administration implemented last summer when they first lifted restrictions.

This is our first trip to IOA/UO so I really want to poke around all the shops without being crammed in without a bunch of people mouth-breathing on me. I may just tell my kids that we’re going to use EA to do the shops/spells.

That's a solid, valid plan. I think it's smart to tell your kids and set expectations before you go the parks. If they are old enough, explain why. As long as everyone goes in knowing and understanding the plan, it can make things easier. Some of the Harry Potter shops are really tiny.

Yeah - officially it says "For guests who have not been vaccinated, face coverings are encouraged while indoors - including restaurants, shops and indoor hotel public areas. "

Probably legal dept. language - total guess - but yes its basically dropped for everyone as you said

I'm vaccinated and boosted, but I will definitely still be wearing a KN95 mask indoors and outdoors when I feel crowds are too heavy. I plan to be there this Sunday, so we'll how it goes!

I think the only reason they changed back in late December was peer pressure from Disney, with Disney never seeming to be willing to drop it. Now that even Disney is starting to be more reasonable, Universal finally feels the room to be more lenient. As someone who can't wear one this whole ordeal has been extremely frustrating. Hopefully when I can go again the policy will still be lenient
