Block Party Bash in DCA

Can someone tell me if they are still throwing out those nerf balls like they did during the 50th celebration?

We were there in May, and they threw out the nerf balls then.

Yep we were just there in July and the boys came home with one each!

We were there in July and they threw out about a half dozen -- clearly not enough! Hardly any kids got one. And then when the parade moved on, and there were balls under the floats, when the CM's saw them, instead of tossing them to a kid in the crowd, they put them back in the float for next time.

Thankfully DD was too hot to care about getting one. I reminded her she got one last year.

We had the same experience the end of June - not many balls tossed into the crowd. I reminded the kids that they would need to carry the balls all evening and they suddenly didn't care that they didn't catch one.

Bash still has the Nerf balls... but the actual parade is a shorter version than the 50th version. It's still fun though.

...a friend in Dis Entertainment told me a few days ago that the last and final Block Party Bash at DCA is Jan 9th...


Then Bash is supposed to debut, in some form, at WDW/Studios sometime in Mar-May...

Then the new Pixar only parade (rumored 7 floats, 1 per Pixar movie) is due to debut a short while after that at DCA.
Probably early May '08.
