Does anyone know where I can find out how much it is to get into Blizzard Beach? We don't have park hoppers, its silly for us to add the option - and the Water Park and more option doesn't apply as we will not be going to Pleasure Island - I just want to pay OOP for BB and can't seem to find the prices anywhere.

Hi,

From allearsnet.com:

Water Parks 1-Day - Provides one-day admission to Typhoon Lagoon OR Blizzard Beach for designated time period $37.28 (Ages 10+); $30.89 (Ages 3-9) with tax (1/06).

Thanks Bob - next question: Is it worth the $137 for us to go to a water park? It will be me, DH, DD5 and DS4. I hear its alot of fun, but $137 worth of fun???:confused3

Well, I can't answer that one..it's your money! It is fun, but I can't put a dollar value on it...

It might be cheaper for you to just get the water park add-on with your ticket.

Our family sat and figured it out, and it was cheaper for us to get the Water Park and more option. We plan on hitting both water parks during our vacation, so we'll get good use of it. We "may" hit Disney Quest one afternoon, if we feel like it, but that's a big if.

Only you can answer if the money's worth it. Will you be riding the rides, or just sitting in a lounge chair all day? Will your children be splashing in the pools and sliding down the slides, or stick their big toes in and then just play in the sand?

Before kids, DH and I went on vacation with another couple to DW, and went to TL on our very last day. We were so mad at ourselves that we had left it so late--if we'd known what fun it was, we would have gone more than the one day! Likewise, our kids are little fish and absolutely love the water parks. So for us, it would be worth paying the full price admission. Buying the water park option was just a better deal.

Thanks for the questions - my kids do love the water as do myself and DH, we will ride what ever ride their little heights will allow them too. So I guess it will be worth the money. I will add them to our tickets cuz I know DH will never pay that money to get into the water park. ;)
