Everything I have read suggests getting to the water parks early to grab a seat. How are you suppose to do any of the rides if you spend the whole day guarding your seat? Do they just assume that everyone wants to just lie in the sun all day long? Thanks.

The frustrating thing, if you don't get there at opening, is looking across a sea of chairs being held by bags and towels and very few guests in attendance.

Yes you can "hold" seats by putting items on them. Some people really get into configurations like a circle of chairs with their stuff in the middle.

You really need to have a 'base' so that you have somewhere to all meet up and to have a drink etc - when we used to get there one of us would line up to get a locker while the others went to find some seats together which we would hold with towels on each one - all our valuables would be put in the locker. It seems to be the norm - at first we didnt like doing it but now we dont think twice!!

It's almost like a cruise ship at the big pools... towels start showing up at about 5am...LOL To bad there isn't a way to stop people from doing that.

I know of one family that put there towels down at like 7am and went to the parks until the mid afternoon then got into a fight with yelling and screaming with the family that was sitting in there chairs and that was at 2:30 in the afternoon... a CM had to go over and ask the people who had just came back from the parks to select another place to sit and to stop bothering other guest. They started on the CM then and another guest got into it with them, this guy looked like the Hulk, as big as he was and after a few really nice words which no one heard (I wish I had), the people yelling stopped and walked away.

Maybe one day they will find away to stop that kinda trash!

We went to BB yesterday and it was fairly full. We arrived at 2:00pm and searched for 1 loney chair. Found it and parked the stroller next to it and stuck a towel on that chair. That became our meeting place and the 5 of us shared it.

So, they let people just hold chairs by placing items on them?

Hi Klo,

Yes, that's right. When you get there just put your stuff on/in front of a seat (towel, shoes, t-shirt) and go off and do what you want to do! We've never had a problem leaving things at our seats at BB or TL, even when we've been gone for a couple of hours at a time.

Good luck!

Bob
