Blizzard Beach Polar Patios Furniture

Hi All,

I'm going to be visiting BB on Labor Day (our check in day) and was interested in a polar patio (the premium are already unavailable). I've seen recent pictures online that suggest some standard ones include a bed type lounger..

Does anyone have any experience with these? It would be great to have one of these so our toddler could (hopefully) take a nap, but I haven't been able to confirm that there's anything other than the standard six chair and two foot rest set up. I'm sure I could request a bed lounger, but will just get the standard no guarantees reply, so maybe if I knew a specific patio # to request, that might help. Or can I simply request a bed lounger after booking or maybe even on the day of?

I was curious about this too since we’re in a red eye arriving from the west coast at 7:45 on check-in day. My elderly mom will need a place to snooze. It didn’t sound promising from the responses I got so I just rented an umbrella since I knew we’d have shade and a couple loungers served.

They keep tinkering with a couple of patios with different categories above standard, some of which aren’t online, so I’ve gotten to a point where I can’t totally keep them straight to be honest. I think this one is considered Deluxe but it may be Premium Plus and I have them reversed in my head. It has the more plush faux wicker furniture and lounger compared to Standard. There are a few (what I think are the Premium Plus category) other higher category ones that have this same furniture that are in structures vs an umbrella like this one. Again, caveat my info case I have Premium Plus and Deluxe categories switched. Someone with a better memory than me I’m sure may know and can correct me.

I’ll let others chime in on the suitability of this setup for a toddler nap, but seems a little questionable to me depending on age. We used our Bob stroller for nap time at the patios when mine were young. Pretty sure I’ve seen people bring a pack-n-play before, although that seems like an annoying level of gear to haul around. YMMV.

For reference, the article below clearly shows a bed lounger in a std polar patio (sorry if linking isn’t allowed - just wanted to show for reference). But it may be outdated, hence my question. Also attaching the picture embedded in the article. For what it’s worth, I’ve also reached out directly to that blog, but no response yet.

Worst case I’ll just book one and follow up with a chat to request one and hope for the best.

FWIW that patio is the same one in my photo above, which is from two weeks ago. I had to go back to 2022 to find a pic of the menu in my files with the same food prices as in that blog post and those are old style mugs from several years ago.

I don’t go back in the kids area which has some deluxe patios, it's possible one of those has this type of bed, would need others to comment.

Interesting - thank you for the additional context. Sounds like they maybe rearranged the furniture options, so maybe a full bed lounger is no longer an option (although I would think they are still in the park somewhere). I'll still put in a request and see what happens. Thanks again
