He wouldn't touch *anything* last night food-wise. I tried chicken (granted, it had been frozen and I know after you freeze it it loses some flavor), the moist kitten food he was liking, the packets with the gravy and kitten food -- he wouldn't even eat more than a bite or two of that, chicken baby food -- usually something he'll not turn his nose up with at all but this time only two big licks... not even chicken broth. I finally ended up mixing some moist kitten food (chicken flavor) with chicken broth (no, it didn't have any onion powder, I checked) and got it to a consistancy I could feed Blaze through a syringe and essentially force-fed him two syringes worth. That wasn't much, but at least was something.
So, I called the vet this morning and they're totally booked and booked on drop-off appointments which meant a squeeze-in wouldn't be seen until about 3 anyway, so I just made his appointment for this afternoon. He's looking better (brighter, more energetic, etc) this morning so I think it's safe to wait until afternoon.

Thinking positive thoughts and waiting for an update! Blaze is lucky to have a mom who cares as much as you do.
