Blargh

So I just got an email today from my husband who is currently deployed.

He got his orders for his next duty station.

We will get to spend 8 weeks of 2010-July of 2011 together because he's going straight from a deployment to a 4 month school. And when he finishes that school my kids still have another 2 months of school left here.

I know it's part and parcel of the whole deal, but it still stinks. I was just starting to forget how much I really do miss him and then BAM!

Aaah the wonders of military life!

school I know (at least in the Army) is one of the ONLY reasons that a person gets out of the 90 days in one place after they redeploy.

I know that there are some schools that are highly desired that people wait to re-up while they are deployed to get (that is the only way that they will get a locked in slot)
