Once again Universal is TWO parks, and they're completely different from each other.
If you're referring to Islands of Adventure, and you actually have visited, you'd realize that every attraction is well themed, some extremely well themed and have a storyline, unlike Cedar Point and Busch Gardens.
BTW, those Universal attractions were designed by.............Ex-Disney Imagineers!!
Really? What transportation Service just out of curiosity do they provide there guests? Shamu Express? Hulk Express? from the Airport? Sea World provides no transportation from the Airport or any local hotel to there parks. Universal Provides no transportation from the Airport or local hotels either. Universal has a boat that brings you from there unowned resorts to IOA universal Entrance.
Exciting! Maybe now Seaworld and Universal will coordinate ticketing in such a way that I will choose to do those parks instead of Disney for a week. Throw in an express morning bus to Busch Gardens and I'd do that too.
That said I don't think it makes sense to compare either Universal Park to Busch Gardens. BG is far enough away that its really for the beach & tennis vacation crowd rather than drawing seriously from Orlando. The last time I was there it seemed to be more of a blend of a good Six Flags and a good zoo than some sort of IoA clone. AK seemed like a half baked clone of BG. I havent been over to Tampa in a while with time to go to BG so maybe things have changed.
