Blackout Delays

I hope that anyone traveling today got off the ground before the FAA shut things down!

Any ideas about how this is going to affect flights, especially in the NYC area, over the next few days? We're flying out next Tuesday and we want to make sure that it's going to be smooth sailing

Newark is now open and running at full schedule! So much for the peace and quiet of no planes overhead!! I believe LaGuardia and JFK are open also. The delays should be cleared up by tomorrow.

My nephew had a flight on Continental out of Newark at 8:30AM and it left on time.
My other nephew flew in from LAX yesterday and he spent the night at the terminal at JFK, took a taxi to Newark this AM and met up with his Aunt who was dropping off her son. She took him back to Howell NJ....
My sister was a nervous wreck trying to find out where her son was, but he went standby early out of LAX and was on the ground in JFK when the lights went out.

System failures due to software problems are the fault. At least until 4 pm today, they won't be bringing any of our Canadian visitors to WDW.

We love our Canadian friends and hope those who are coming down by air can get here soon!
