blackberry help

[The COH]

I have had a blackberry pearl since christmas and this morning it was working fine. Then on my break at work i looked at it and all of my icons were gone. I can only call and receive calls from it. Does anyone know what is wrong with my phone?

Try taking the battery out and letting it sit for a minute, then put the battery back in. I've got a Curve and have to do that every once in a while.

I agree....battery pull usually will fix most things. If not....head over to crackberry . com. Lot's of helpful folks over there

I ditto the 2 PP's. Battery out makes a load of difference.

I would also delete old emails if you can. If it is using too much memory that can happen too.

If you are still having problems after removing the batter, also check to make sure that it doesn't need any software updates. I started having problems with my curve and after installing software updates they went away.

There is an app you can get called Quickpull. Using it is the same as pulling out the battery to reset, without having to pull the battery.

I have this app...and I do it every night for maintenance.....but it is really considered a soft reset. If you have an issue with your BB....you still need to do a hard battery pull. pain that it is
