My DS said he read it was a walk-in cooler in a backstage area.

The news articles and reports of people in the parks say it was a walk-in cooler backstage in France. Most of the France pavilion was evacuated for safety reasons, including Remy’s. The fire was contained and extinguished very quickly and there are reportedly no injuries.

Not sure what effect this will have on the pavilion for the rest of the evening and tomorrow.

I'm sure the fire department was there in minutes. There is a fire station right behind Epcot (kind of in the area of Germany) with direct access to the park.
