We're in the market for a new tv. Best Buy and Walmart both have the one DH wants in their ads. Will we be able to shop online at either of these stores for the sale price? If so, any idea what time the deals will be available?
Last year on thanksgiving I was looking online after I got home from work as we didn't go anywhere and I said to my dh-look a TV with x, y & z just like you wanted for $600. We bought it and it arrived the next day!
Besides the noted door busters (where they show limited qty #'s on the ads) the rest of the sale items will be available online to ship from the distribution centers. Also if you're not the first 30 in line you're probably not getting any of the doorbusters anyways. Scoped out everything I was interested in and had everything ordered online so got to skip the lines and went to other black friday sales that didn't attract the crazy crowds.
one thing that I've noticed on the door busters is that you have to watch the specs... for missing features like fewer HDMI ports compared to nearly identical models sold else where, or for ex: Walmart was selling a new model $2 cheaper than other sites but when looked at closer the manufacture site had a 240Hz refresh rate but the walmart version was 120Hz...
I've always been able to order what I've wanted on BF online with Walmart and Best Buy. I have never gone to the physical store - not sure WHY people do that when most of the items in their flyer are also available online.
Has anyone had luck ordering BF deals from Target online. I've looked at the ad and they have the tv DH wants, but I'm not going at 6 on thanksgiving just to get it.
Usually if it is in-store only, it will say so in the ad. This year, the TV my husband wants is only available in-store and they will only have 3 per store (so he will be in line really, really, really early - but he lives for BF...he's weird). But basically everything else is online and I will be ordering from home. Last year I had all our Christmas bought in a few clicks! Toys-r-Us is great about having almost everything online, as is Walmart and a few other places. Target is hit or miss for the items I am usually on the hunt for.
