does anyone remember if wal-mart's doorbusters were available online at midnight last year? i remember getting up at midnight and shopping at walmart.com, but i don't recall if the items i got were doorbusters or not. i really need one of the laptops they've got listed, but i'm not physically able to stand in line for hours. my knees just won't let me.

one year, when the kiddo was just a pipsqueak, I accidentally went to WalMart on black friday...... it was DEAD! There was a wall of leappad systems for $25 bucks and I snagged one. Last year, I went the Sunday after Black Friday (again, not thinkin...) and while it was relatively busy, I was able to get the Black Friday deal on the JVC digicorder thingy hubs wanted. I love livin in the boonies.

There were some things available online last year, but not everything was. Those items went as fast or faster as the ones in the store. tHe time the deals are available Depends on where you live; west coast- midnight; east coast 3 am (at least it was that way last year)

I just called my local Walmart. They are open from 6am on Thanksgiving until Midnight on Black Friday. They will pricematch the TRU sale(and any other sales/doorbusters, exact price match) at Midnight, you just need the sales paper.

The manager said the doorbuster items/special buy items will have seperate lines to get the items. If the item is normally sold everyday it will be out.

We went to Walmart last yr and b/c it's open 24 hrs it wasn't too bad. The main isles were roped off so you had to figure out where the item first on your list was and hang out in the isle by it so no running from the back of the store. I need 3 of the Nintendo DSlights that they have and they have the best deal. And if I put enough aside I want a Cricut Expression. I have the baby but would like the bigger one.

I'm in the Chicagoland area and I called 3 stores in my area, BE ADVISED that not all stores will even have the video game or open at 3am!! I spoke to a manager and she said that only the larger or "select" stores will be getting LR.

My closest ON in the mall will open at 4am and they will NOT have the game!!! I called the two other stores that she recommended and both will open at 3am, but only 1 told me that they will have LR and that he thought it was a demo. The other store didn't know if they would get LR.

I only knew to call because I read someone's post that not all stores were going to carry them on a forum on black friday gotta deal. I am not pleased with ON right not AT ALL.

Anyone know how Target does the Black Friday shopping? Will we be given tickets to the items advertised or is it first come, first serve once the doors open and everyone goes to grab what they want? I haven't been in several years...

I'm in the Chicagoland area and I called 3 stores in my area, BE ADVISED that not all stores will even have the video game or open at 3am!! I spoke to a manager and she said that only the larger or "select" stores will be getting LR.

My closest ON in the mall will open at 4am and they will NOT have the game!!! I called the two other stores that she recommended and both will open at 3am, but only 1 told me that they will have LR and that he thought it was a demo. The other store didn't know if they would get LR.

I only knew to call because I read someone's post that not all stores were going to carry them on a forum on black friday gotta deal. I am not pleased with ON right not AT ALL.

WOW - Thank you so much for posting this! I was totally going to get up and be there at 3am for the LR deal. Now I will have to call. I will be grumpy if this is a demo version, too.
If our ON doesn't have this, I will barely be doing any shopping. Target and ON were the only stores I wanted anything, based on the ads.

I wouldn't see why not... Normally anything you can buy on walmart.com can be shipped site to store. (I work at walmart as Service Desk/Customer Service Manager btw)

Yes you can. I did this last year on BF. Be advised that sometimes they get so overwhelmed by orders that you might get an item or items cancelled afterwards once they notice they oversold items.

I just don't understand why the only deals on the iPod Touch are for the 8 gig??? I was really hoping to get the 32 gig, but I can't seem to find any "free gift card" deals for anything but the 8 gig.

yeah and the 3rd generation 8 gig has no improvements over the 2nd generation so would be better off buying a 16 gig refurb from Apple for the same price.

If you don't NEED an Ipod TOUCH, I got my DD an Ipod 160GB classic (6th generation) for $160. Ebay! She asked for an Ipod NANO 8gb for $150! I think I got a great deal!
