BL Red Team Official Week 5 Thread (Oct. 4-10)

Here's this week's thread.

I'll be back to read/check up a little later, I've got a couple of dresses for DD cut out and she's asking me to sew for her so I'm going to get on it while she's playing on her own.
 
Well, I did not lose anything this week according to the scale. I maintained. Honestly, I do think I did lose a little but I feel so bloated and think that is why the scale wasn't as friendly as I had hoped. I think I must have eaten something to make me feel bloated and hopefully next week there will be a pretty big loss to make up for it this week.

For the exercise challenge I did 320 min. for the week.
 
Okay, it's 10 p.m. I'm all caught up but don't want to post as I'm missing reports on both weigh in and the challenge.

I'd love to be able to get us all caught up so we can get all the number tallied. I know we're all a little behind but I do believe all team captains are back right now. (Glad the blue team captain is still with us!!!)

I'm having a hard time today, my DD hasn't let go of me for very long today, this whole ear infection thing is so NOT fun for any of us (not that I expected it to be) but between not being able to put my daughter down and my DH not getting home until after 8 tonight, there was no gym for me today. Not happy about that, I had just gotten back into the swing of things and now this. SO not handling this well.

I'm not eating for comfort, I suppose not being able to put my daughter down has a bright spot, but I'm hungry now and trying not to eat so late. I did make myself a piece of toast with smart balance and low sugar jelly so I suppose that's not the worst thing in the world to eat. Add Aunt Flo into the picture and not such a good day. :) I'm fighting it but man I'd really like to get to the gym and work off some of the frustration.

I'm going to call it a night and start heading toward bed, I've got some chores to do tonight so I'd better get on them. I didn't manage to finish a Halloween pillow case dress for my daughter and I'm almost done with a Thomas the Tank Engine one for her, she really wanted a Thomas dress, it's a shame they don't focus on little girls with the Thomas merchandise, I can't be the only one with a girl who loves him.

Okay, off to work around the house, maybe that'll burn off some energy.
 
I'm still confused on where to post (the end of last week or the beginning of this week?). Yesterday was a bit nuts so did not go online. I lost 1 lb.... so 3 so far... slow but steady. I also did 225 minutes of exercise last week.
Things are quite hectic right now, but will keep going. Drink water. Exercise. Eat well. Deb ;)
 

Well, TOM decided to make an appearance after being MIA for almost 3 months - so I'm up 1 # this week. I've never had puffy feet/hands like I have the past few days. MISERABLE!!!! Oh well.......

I think I posted exercise in last weeks. I'm off to FL tomorrow til Tuesday night. Hopefully won't gain!

I'm caught up to here now. I also just checked the other thread as well.

I'm hoping to catch up with everyone today. Seems like I'm playing catch up everywhere today. :) Who knew a sick kid could tear a house apart so quickly!! :)
 
Sorry I am posting late but Wednesdays are crazy for me. On Wednesday,I have class during the day,come home, make something quick for dinner, then I am off for a night class. If I am lucky I get home just in time for Lost.

But anyway, I am only down 1 lb this week.

90 minutes today~~I did 2 45 minute workouts. I will be out of town till monday so keep on moving Red Team we can do this.
 
How is everyone? We seem to have some MIA members, but I haven't been online much too hectic right now with lots of activities etc with the family. Hope to get some extra work out time this weekend. It is Thanksgiving in Canada but all DHs family are away and my family is stateside (I am from the US) so we will see what we do. DS6 keeps talking about thanksgiving so I think we may just 'do' something for him. I always do US thanksgiving for some fellow expats so that is "my" thanksgiving but anyway. Have a great day all. Ugh! Dd and I are both pretty sick right now so it doesn't look like I will be getting any exercise in this weekend with the way I am feeling right now. Dd is sleeping and so is dh (who isn't sick...at least not yet!) and I feel like sleeping too. So have a great weekend everyone! I'm off to rest!

P.S. It is my fall break so of course the lousy timing of us getting sick would happen now, right? Figures, huh? :( And we had been planning to go to the buffalo park and the pumpkin patch today but I guess that will have to be another weekend. Okay, I'm off.
 
Howdy!

I hope everyone is out enjoying their weekend! We're working on the apartment again this weekend. I have made some great progress being stuck in the house this last week.

I've got a sore throat now so I'm hoping that I feel a little better by Monday. I'd really like to get back in the gym. I miss it a lot. I really have been craving to work out.

I am down another pound so that makes me feel good considering that I haven't had much exercise these days. I have been trying to be very mindful of what I've been eating.

I finally managed to start working on getting ready for our vacation in 12 days. I put together my information booklet and my husband's going to get the suitcases out of the garage for me tonight.

He's going to work tomorrow so I'll probably stay close to home with my daughter and start getting our stuff together. I started my lists so at least I'm not as far behind as I feel I am.

The house is really starting to look so much better and so much more organized. I'm so happy that I can get into my daughter's closet. I packed up all the clothes that are out of season or don't fit. I can't believe how empty her closet it. I'll have more to do after vacation but I don't want to pack up all the warm weather clothes just yet just in case it gets warmer around here again.

I'll check in tomorrow.

Hello Red Team!

It was a very nice day out today :sunny: , although we never quite made it out of the house, we're going to head out tomorrow to play at my parents' for a little while. They have a sand and water table over in their yard for DD. I'll take her over to play for a little while tomorrow after our art class.

I'm feeling better (finally) but giving the cold another couple of days before hopping back in the pool. I've been digging out our closets and catching up on things around the house. I've been buried in laundry most of the day. :laundy: My goal is to get most of it done before we leave to Disney so that when we come back the house doesn't stress me out. :scared1: At least that's the plan.

I can't wait to head to Disney on the 19th. We're doing MNSSHP the night we get there. I can't wait, we've never been in the fall.

I'd better get back to the housework.
 
Okay where is everyone?!

I'm working around the house today (again or should I say still?!) My scale started working again and I've got a great loss for this week. I have lost my 5 pounds for the month of October and for the first time in about 10 months I'm under 200 pounds, I almost screamed when the scale said 197 this morning. That puts me 1 pound away from losing 10% of myself!!! I'm so excited!!!

I was hoping to be at 10% by the time we went on our trip and it really looks like I may be able to do it. We've completely stopped eating out and my weight has come way down.

This was the boost I needed since I haven't been able to get much in the way of working out in the last few weeks and won't this week again and then next week, I'll go to the gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before we leave bright and early Thursday morning for Disney!!!

Let's hear how the rest of you are doing!!!
 
Things are going okay here. I feel that I am working out harder than ever and really watching my food intake. I am down 9.1 lbs since the beginning. I am on the treadmill for at least 60 minutes each day. Good luck all - keep up the good work!

OK nothing this weekend, we were busy busy with weddings and class reunions. We finally are back home and 90 minutes today and it felt so good.
