Bizarre Christmas Songs.

I am listening to Christmas music this morning and I just heard a really weird (but funny) version of the Twelve Days of Christmas by Space Ghost.

Last year I went to http://www.snowbells.com and listened to their selection of Christmas music online. I heard the Space Ghost version there and later found it online to download. It is just TOO funny (in a weird way). Also found a Beavis and Butthead version of the Nutcracker (I think that's what it is).

Are there any weird versions of Christmas songs that you listen to?

Thanks, amid! I don't think I will download any of those (well, maybe one. I have no idea what a klezmer band sounds like, so my curiosity is going to get the better of me!) Ok, and maybe the Kathie Lee and Regis song!!! I hope I can find them on Limewire. Ok, and Jingle Bells, the rubber band (elastic, rather) version.

DH usually goes around the house singing "Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear" whenever he hears "Walking in a Winter Wonderland". I thought he just made up the song, but one day last week they actually played it on the radio! Couldn't believe my ears!

I'm trying to find the lyrics to "Scrooge", the musical version of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" which stars Albert Finney. I can find all sorts of information about the movie, but not lyrics to the songs. I love, "I Hate People with Reprise", "Thank you Very Much" and "I Like Life". "I Like Life" is one of my all time favorite songs! They are bizarre, but great, Christmas songs.

I love the part that goes something like this:

"In Accounting there's a guy named Melvin,
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown..."

However it goes, it's a hoot!
