I've convinced DH to go back for the free dining plan :cool1: So now we have to pick a date. If we go over Labor Day it would save us a day of vacation and DD would only miss 3 days of school instead of 5. But the parks may be more crowded then and if we go a week or so later, we could be there for DS's birthday. Are there special things DW does for birthday kids? I don't want to pay for anything outrageous, this is a last minute decision and I'm going to be having a garage sale, working overtime, etc to pay for the trip as it is. Thanks guys!!! :goodvibes

If you stay on site in Disney and tell them it is your DS bday they may give him a autographed picture of Mickey and the gang. I got one when it was my bday. They also gave me balloons. You have to tell them at check in. But don't count on it. Also in front of parks you can go to guest relations and tell them about bday and get a free bday pin. All CM's will say happy bday to your DS!!! We collected pins from all the parks. :Pinkbounc

When we were there celebrating mine and Dh's birthday, we noted it on our resort reservation as well as all dining as well. We picked up birthday pins on each of our special days (we are a few days apart). Lots of people will say Happy Birthday to him if he has a pin on, we got balloons and a signed card on ours in our room as well.
