I know what you mean about bring the medicine. Our very first trip back when the kids were 3 and just turning 5, I looked at the bottle of pink eye meds and decided not to bring it. Elizabeth sleeps with her eyes open and used to get it pink eye often. We were in the parks for 1 day and I could tell it was coming. By the next morning her eyes were horrible and we had to take her to a doctor. Every trip after that I brought every medicine possible.

I am glad you still had a good trip despite your back and can't wait to hear about your September trip.

Thank you very much for following along as always! Things happen -- injuries, bad weather, illnesses, and just life in general. In this case, the "tough stuff" made me love the good stuff even more and made me even more excited for my trip next week! Appreciate all the good vibes from you and can't wait to share!

Oh, poor Elizabeth!! So sorry -- pink eye is never fun, I used to get it all the time when I was little. But yes... all it takes is one experience like this and you'll never forget the medicine bag again!

Even with the back pain, it was still a great trip. And knowing I left a little bit of unfinished business in the Parks in May only makes me even more excited for next week!

mom wanted to know if I wanted to go on one last trip on Monorail Red. I said "why not," and we spent one last trip on Monorail Red scheming up our next vacation and waving goodbye to Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary. Eventually, we got off at the TTC station and headed back to Pago Pago for the last time

Aww this made me tear up!! I hope my kids still want to come to Disney and make memories with me when they’re grown ups. What a special way to end the trip with your mom!!

Oh, this is so sweet!!! Growing up with a Disney family is so special and runs so deep -- I know your children are going to have so many special memories with you for so many years to come, well into their adulthood
