Birthday wish come true

My DS (age 5) helped his uncle blow out his birthday candles. When we asked him what he wished for, he replied," To go to Disney World." He doesn't know we have booked a trip for October. Any advice on how to tell him his wish came true?

Aww, that's so cute! Hmm...I'd just talk to him about wishes and how they can come true, and then ask him if he remembers what he wished for at his uncle's birthday. Then say "guess what happened, we ARE going to Disney World!

My idea is kind of lame, but I'm sure someone will come up with something creative.

Oh, an idea just came to me! A postcard from Mickey addressed to your son, "I heard your wish and have arranged for you to come visit me in October..."

That's a terrific idea! My sister and her husband are at WDW right now and she could send the postcard for me. It would seem authentic with the Orlando postmark. Thanks for the great idea!
