What a crappy Jiko experience! I hate that you apologized to the waiter, but I know you felt! Sometimes wait staff can be so condescending that you feel bad for needing assistance. So was the shrimp just basically in curry powder with nothing else to dilute it???

I love French Meadow products too! I like to buy the fresh chocolate chip cookies at Disney, but the frozen ones that I buy at home taste a little salty to me for some reason. It's so nice to have dessert options while others are pigging out on funnel cake.

Babycakes sounds great! Does the frosting taste coconut-y from the oil? I don’t think I’ve ever had frosting made from coconut oil. The thought of donuts is making me swoon!

Oh yeah that Jiko experience was awful. The waiter really honestly made the whole thing worse, which stinks. I LOVE curry powder and so it would have been better if it had just been that. It was a paste (not red curry, but something sweet and savory--I know from past experience communicating with the kitchen that they actually buy their sauces premade--they served it with the dip sampler and I refused to eat it on that) and it basically reduced and concentrated...YUCK-O!

Yes, the FM brand is great and it's awesome to see the cookies there now!

And yes, get to babycakes if you can...it's amazing!!!! Makes up for the horrid Jiko experience!
