DH brought me to NYC this past week for my birthday. We stayed at the Marriott right in Time Square. Here is the view from our room!!
The gentlemen at check in said that this room was running $1650 for New Years Eve!! Great view but even better DH!!!

We were there this past wed. night. Only one night there and we are home now. We also saw Phantom of the Opera while we were there. GREAT SHOW by the way!!

My DH's family live in Elmont. I have been to NY York about 4 times. I love the windows in Macy's and Lord and Taylors at christmas. WOW what a city. Nice place to visit. Notice a dent in every car. The stress level. WOW. God bless them all. Nice place to visit would not want to live there.

Happy birthday! Your room view is awesome!!! Can't imagine spending $1650 for a night in a hotel room, no matter where it was. (But I suppose if a bunch of people got together and spent that much it would be the right place to be)! Thanks for sharing your pictures.

DD an I went to NYC for Spring Break '06, we stayed at the Marriott as well and our room had a similar view....I used points because the rooms were over $300 at the time and they let me use a bonus buck for room charges. We absolutely loved it! I don't think I would ever stay anywhere else.

How cool would this be staying here on New Years Eve?? In the second picture, if you look straight across, just above the Discover Card ad, you can see the 2007 and the pole that the ball comes down.
We saw guys up there working while we were there however did not see the ball at all yet, I'm sure it wasn't up there yet.

I live in NY and am dying to stay at that Marriott. One day. My friend is thinking of renting a room there for New Years Eve one year:scared1: Too rich for my blood:rotfl:

It's anice, but very busy hotel. I've stayed there a few times. I like the Marriott on 3rd Ave. better. Really liked the Righa, but it's not a Marriott anymore.

Dismom, did you get to eat or have a drink in the View?

We were in NYC this past week too, Wednesday and Thursday. We stayed at Le Parker Meridien and had a view of Central Park from the 34th floor. It was NICE!! I like your view too!!!

Can't even imagine staying there on NYE, the crowd would be unbelievable!!

No we did not go into the View. We were there for a very short time although we spent some time in the concierge lounge, DH is a Platnium member. We had a very nice breakfast in the morning before we left as well at some nibbles the evening we got there.
