Birthday surprise - Need help with dining

Hello everyone,

I'm traveling with my male BBF to Disneyland in September and his birthday happens to be in the middle of our trip. He loves a good steak so I'm planning on surprising him with a nice dinner but since I'm not much of a meat fan I don't know where would be a good place to take him to.

We are renting a car so it doesn't have to be at a walking distance from Disneyland.

Any ideas?

Steakhouse 55 inside the DL Hotel get's good reviews. I have not been as we don't eat a lot of meat either. For my DD15 birthday last week we went to the Blue Bayou and ordered a cake through Disney that turned out awesome. The cake was a surprise to her. The small cake feeds 6 and it was $34.

Morton's Steakhouse is close to the Disney Resort and they have good seafood options to choose from if you don't want steak. Here's a link to their menu,

There is also The Ranch. You might have more non-steak options at Morton's, but the Ranch looks good too! Here's their menu:

There is also a Ruth's Chris steakhouse on Harbor, not far from Morton's.
