Birthday question ???

Hello ...hopefully I can get some insight on this idea.

My son's birthday is not until 9/12... but we will be in Disney 8/22-8/29... do you think it's rude to tell them at Chef Mickey's that his birthday is in another 2 weeks ? We'll be going there on our last night at Disney as our send off..

What do you think ??

Yes do it on your visit. Get all the pins at each park.

I don't think you need to say it is his birthday, just say that you are celebrating his birthday.

Chef Mickey's does a general "special day" celebration....it would be totally appropriate to say that you are celebrating his birthday.

DS(10) actually had his b'day while we were there 4-5. DD was born late May. No way can I afford 2 trips so close in one year so we decided to celebrate both. They each picked a day and got the buttons and we made ADR's where they wanted to eat. DS got so tired of everyone wishing him Happy B'day he had to take his button off. LOL

They got placemats from a couple of restaurants. The resort left balloons and autograhed photo of Mickey for DS and Minnie for DD. They were there when returned in the evening. It was nice.

I wouldn't hesitate at all. As an earlier poster said.... just say you are celebrating his b-day.

Some actually asked in a friendly way (not a policing way wanting proof) if it was the actual day and we had to explain about the April/May thing and they just laughed and carried on like no big deal. They see it all the time. Mine are often mistaken for twins anyway.
