Its my Wifes birthday while were in Disneyland Paris in October as it was last year we did the Birthday tea but this year i either want to get her something special at the Park ie a gift or Is there anything else you can do for her ie getting seats on the back of the Studios Parade??? any suggestions would be welcome

I Would Suggest Taking Her For Dinner In Cinderellas Castle:wizard:. Then I Would Buy Her Flowers & A Stuff Animal:confused3. If You Go To A Dinner Tell Them You Wife Is Having A Birthday:cool1: !!

Cleanscaryshadow~You can't have dinner in cinderellas castle, can you?

Minnielover~ Are you stayin in a disney hotel? If so i have heard that if you phone the hotel direct you can arrange for things to be ordered to your room like: chocolates, flowers, champagne, cuddly toy, balloons lol:goodvibes

I have seen people on the back of the studios parade, but have only heard of people getting on there bcuz they had vip passes for the day bcuz of a complaint they have made, but i'm sure you can get on there for other reasons~again i would phone the hotel or disney to find out and ask.

I'll ponder it over and let you know if i have any other ideas.:thumbsup2

Closest restaurant to the Castle, though not actually in it, is Auberge de Cendrillon. It's now a character meal venue with Princes and Princesses - maybe not the ideal venue for a romantic meal!

My suggestion would be what was done for me - meal at the Blue Lagoon with a birthday cake.

Yup Im Pretty Sure You Can Well If Your There The Right Time:confused3 .

Hi CleanScaryShadow and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

Think you may have got your parks and geography confused ;) You definitely cannot eat at Sleeping Beauty's castle at DLP :)

Minnielover~ what sort of things does your wife like? any fav characters etc?

tigger she loves Goofy Buzz and of Course Mickey she like Its a Small World and Adventureland

How about having one of those special photos done(the ones where they blend you into the scene) or having something special made for her by the glass blowing person in main street(if she likes them) or they sell nice disney&non disney jewellery or like dlpsteve said have a bday cake ordered to her fav restaurant to have with your meal on her bday(but keep it a surprise, i had this on my bday but i knew about it, so it was no shock when everyone started singing happy bday ~ it was still nice tho).

I'll keep thinking.............

The people on the back float of the parade, are parents of children who are picked. My daughter has been on there, and because she was 6 she went on her own but those children who were about 3 or 4 had to be accompanied by a parent.

I agree with the suggestion of Blue Lagoon restaurant, but only if she likes the menu - my dh could not find anything he would eat so we have not tried it. But if she likes Mickey and Goofey I would suggest maybe trying Innventions, we have been (DH and me only) and went late when there were not many children and had some great interaction.

Also, I think the jewellery idea is good - they have some really nice pieces, necklaces, earrings etc.

I think I may have to print off this thread later and leaving it lying around to give my dh some suggestions.

Lol great minds think alike, if only my bf would think of things like this without me having to prod him, hummmmm :rolleyes1

I would love to go to the blue lagoon it looks lovely and a very romantic setting but i dont like to look of the menu:sad1: ~but for those that do, i think it would be a great place to celebrate something special :thumbsup2
