Birthday Pin (and annoyed rant...)

I am getting fed up with VMK... why oh WHY do they have to wait until later in the day to load new one-day only stuff on like the birthday pins?!
I was on VMK from opening yesterday for about 3 hours, and the pin was not loaded.
I could not log on after that bc I live in the UK and was otherwise engaged in the evening.
So, obviously I MISSED yesterday's special pin
I am so annoyed. Surely they ,must know some people cannot get on all day everyday?!!?

Anyway, if anyone has a spare or two they could kindly trade or gift then I would be so grateful

Okay, I want to make it VERY clear that the following is in no way directed at PirateEmery, just a general comment about what he has said.

Any of us that are Disney fans know that 7/17 is a special day. Special days usually mean special stuff. If I could have placed a bet on whether or not something would have been released yesterday, I would have done so in an instant. We know something special happened last year, therefore, there was a good chance at something special happening this year.

Do we really need a newsletter announcement for every 1 day released item that happens? I think that's being a bit harsh. Surprises are part of what makes life fun.

Thank you VMK for making the VMK Birthday 2 pin so easily attainable and for making it tradeable so we can help out friends who weren't around yesterday. We appreciate it!

Final Thought - If you KNOW you are going to be gone from VMK for any period of time beyond a day, may I suggest a buddy system with someone who "covers" for you and buys you things so that you never miss out.

I would have liked alittle heads up about something that would have be sold for only 1 day. But thankfully VMK was nice enough to have it out for more that 1 day. JMO

I agree that there is nothing wrong with a heads up, but I don't know that a newsletter update is always the answer. A little splash on the home page "Don't miss your VMK Birthday 2 Pin today only!" would be just as good.

But thankfully VMK was nice enough to have it out for more that 1 day.

Happy you can still go buy it. For those of us who bought many knowing from VMK history that it would only be here for 1 day, "thankfully" and "nice" are not the words. LOL But - that's the vmk gamble. And believe me, I have friends who bought WAAAAAY more than I.
