Birthday Party Planning

Can anyone tell me, aside from making a PS, is there anything special I can request when making a booking? I am throwing myself a 50th birthday party in August (now a toss up between, AP, CG, and Jikko).

Can I get a cake or anything else? It will be between 6 and 10 people.

I would like to know the answer to this too. My DS 7 will be turning 8 in the middle of our trip in May and I was wondering what I could do for him. Any Ideas? When I called to make PS for Chef Mickey's for our last trip I was given a number to call to order a cake for My Nephew. I didn't order one though Because I was told they would bring him a cupcake. I mentioned it when we checked into a CM but no one even said Happy Birthday to him. He was turning 5 at the time.

Once you decide on which place you'll be eating, call the restaurant directly. I had this done at Jiko's last month for someone. They made a beautiful 'african inspired' cake! I've also done this at Le Bistro de Paris. In both cases with a group about you size I think I paid about $40

We've had a birthday cake delivered to our table by calling the Whispering Canyon directly. It was my son's 12th birthday and they brought a choclate cake after dinner and sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Also, at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace in the past we've mentioned that my dd's had birthdays and the characters brought big cupcakes and sang. At Chef Mickey they got the whole restaurant waving their napkins in the air while Minnie danced around our table. I got this all on videotape.
