We will be staying at the Pop in February. MY DH will be celebrating his birthday. I am going to get him a :bday: button, talk to a CM for suggestions when we check in and was thinking about ordering a :cake: .
Does anyone else have any other ideas or suggestions?

Maybe order something from Disney Florist...www.disneyflorist.com
They can make up special Disney themed baskets and you could have it delivered to your room. It would be very special if you personalized it with his favorite character... :)

Ooops...I just noticed you were saying it was your DH's bday, not DS!!! I was thinking kid-stuff!
You could still check out disney florist...there are baskets with wine & cheese, etc.

Have a shirt made for him that says "Today's My Birthday" with Mickey or his fave character on it. I bet he gets a lot of attention. I'll be in WDW for my b-day Jan. 10th and I have a shirt made for that day. If you go out to eat, tell the CM it his b-day. I think they'll bring him a cupcake with a candle and sing to him.
Have fun!
Lori

when u check in tell them you are celebrating his birthday and they will send balloons and a signed card from all the characters with their picture in front of the castle, and dont forget to ask for a birthday button at each park! Although magic kingdon and mgm is the same button...............epcot`s has happy birthday on it in different languages.................no flames people but i think animal kingdoms pin needs some work!

It will be my birthday while I'm there and I'm having a hard time deciding where to eat at Epcot. Our anniversary is the next day, so I already have LeCellier booked for that evening's dinner. It will be just me and DH. Has anyone had a birthday experience at any other place at Epcot? We like pretty much any type of food. Thanks!

Depending on your budget you could book a birthday cruise for illuminations at epcot ??

I'll be there for my birthday on Jan 9th. Wonder if my DH will have anything special planned since we already have ADR at the Crystal Palace :confused3 ?

I have the same question--only for DS who will be 17.
DH & DS will be going the end of Jan for EE.
I would like to set up something for the room, so will definately do the balloon idea, thanks scorpad99! Will do the birthday pin thing, too!
any other suggestions? this will be a weekend cheapie trip, so DH is not interested in doing sitdown--although, am trying to persaude him to go to Boma, DS' favorite--I would do the cake thing, but am afraid DS will get embarassed! :teeth: --
I can send down a box, they will do carry on only, so can't send anything too bulky.
I am really stumped for ideas here-

Thanks in advance
Jean

If you sign up at the Ghirardelli website, you will recieve a voucher for a free sundae that is good at Downtown Disney. I also received a second voucher the month of my birthday.
Make sure you check YES when asked if you live within 50 miles of a ghirardelli shop.

A birthday cruise would just be the most magical moment! I'd go ahead and book the b-day cruise, and even if that doesn't work,we just did the birtday button and there were at least 2 CMs who gave us Space Mountain front-of-the-line passes and 3 fastpasses 4 any ride! Tell your DH happy Birthday!!

Thanks for all your suggestions. Keep them coming. The day of his birthday I will tell him I posted and the birthday wishes from my fellow dissers!

Happy New Year to all!
