Birthday ideas for Disney

Hi we will be going to Disney to celebrate my daughter's 12th B-day. In the past we have done several character breakfasts and lunches. Any ideas on something special to do while we are there? I will be getting her the birthday pin at customer service... but don't know what else to do?

Happy early Birthday to your daughter. Last year we met up with some friends who daughter was turning 8 and we did the Wishes Cruise with the birthday theme. We took the cruise out from the Contemporary and it was decorated with a banner and balloons. Our captain rode around lagoon, told us information and cracked jokes. We saw the Electric Pageant Parade and then he drove us over behind the castle where we sang Happy Birthday and had cake and softdrinks and waiting for the fireworks to begin. We all had so much fun and it was so worth the money ($200).

Happy Birthday to her. Remember that there is a different bday pin at each park and DTD. I got a cake completely by surprise at Spoodles and everyone sang.

There is also the new Bibbidi Boppiti Boutique at Downtown Disney where your DD can have a makeover and get all dolled up with hair and make up and even a princess outfit (if she's into that).

Also, the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Lounge at the GF is a nice treat and a little different experience. It is quite lovely and I can't wait to go back there next summer!

We did the Family Magic Tour for my dd's 11th birthday. We all loved it.

For my son's 13th, I had a specially ordered cake for him at our dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. On top of the normal rawkousness, everyone sang for him and generally embarrassed him (all in good fun). It was a birthday dinner to be remembered. Also, he loved being the driver of his own little boat on the lagoon at CBR - it was money well spent!
