Hello! I am new to this, first dining review, trip report.. first everything, really!

Who are we?

Minnie: that's me! Stay at home mom, food lover, and chief disney planner in the house. Planning the trip and where to eat is my area, and I have logged some hours reading reviews on here.. won't say how many :rotfl: I like most things, love seafood and interesting cuisine and have a MAJOR sweet tooth!

Scrooge McDuck: DH, the secret ring leader of the trip. He was an unlikely disney fan, but emerged from our 2012 trip talking about going again. He is not as into where we eat as I am, but did have a few requests. He isn't picky either, but is harder to please- to get a high mark from him it's gotta be grrrreat. He likes seafood and can take or leave dessert, but loves peanut butter and chocolate.

Stitch: DS. 5 turning 6 on this trip, lucky boy! He is a major sweetie and goofball, who shocked us last year by being terrified by Bugs life and loving tower of terror :confused3 He isn't too picky and lately is always hungry. Big on meat (turkey legs!),fruit treats. I think he'll be a better eater this year.

Cinderella: DD. 2 1/2 going on 6. She is so far beyond her age verbally and with most things, no one believes she's only 2. DD is going to be sharing most meals with maybe occasionally her own, since we are on the DDP. She's not a huge eater, not a big fan of meat or seafood (except chicken) and a major fruit and veggie lover. She also gets down with sweets like her mama ;)

We are staying at POP Feb 5-12 and our reservations have been a work in progress. FINALLY I believe I have it nailed down.. we'll see how long that lasts

Where Are We EATING??

2/5 arrival day. Flight gets in at 10:30 am, planning on MK for a couple hours then DTD for some WPE dinner! It'll be our first time there and I can't wait!!

2/6 Epcot- lunch in the WS sharing at a few places hopefully. Dinner at Chefs de France- this was just added this week, hopefully it's not a mistake

2/7 MK- just cancelled Kona for Sanaa! One of Scrooge's few requests, so I had to oblige. I am actually really excited for this meal, especially after Kona's menu changes. Lunch will hopefully be at BOG, very excited to see the castle.

2/8 Epcot- princess breakfast at Akershus for Cinderella. She is a princess herself, and very into the Disney princesses. This was a must-do

2/9 AK- breakfast at Tusker House and dinner at Boma.. are we getting too much Africa? we shall see!

2/10 MK- lunch at LTT. This was made, for me, based on the ooey gooey toffee cake reviews. SERIOUSLY? it looks soooo good. The menu isn't bad and I think we can all find something we like.

2/11 HS- Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package. I did lunch so we can grab a qs before the show. This will likely be at Starring Rolls or Pizza Planet. Not thrilled with the kids menu at SR, but those cupcakes.. drool!

2/12 we are leaving this day to fate. I have a hunch we will be back in MK. I would love another go at WPE before we leave, so it's possible we might head over there for one last bite, but Scrooge is a fan of CHH and I enjoy it too, so that is the likely scenario. I'm not one to pass up on park time!

Snacks I'd love to try:
toffee bar
jalapeno cream cheese pretzel (this is more for Scrooge)
everything from france. especially the napoleon.
something from Germany, those caramels look amazing
carrot cake cookie- HUGE carrot cake fan, really picky about it. think it will live up to my expectations??
waffle sandwich. any of them!
a boozy drink from the WS... maybe a slushy one :cool1:
DS will definitely get a turkey leg (or 3) and probably want a treat from Goofy's Candy that he makes
DD will probably just share!
Scrooge will probably get an ice cream cookie sandwich and then shock the heck out of me. I can NEVER predict what he will want!

We will probably do light breakfasts, share a snack or just have fruit or granola bars from home.

Hi there and welcome :wave2: My DH and I are actually arriving the day you and your family are leaving! I'm looking forward to reading your dining report, you have a lot of great choices!

We love Chefs de France! We just ate there in October and it was wonderful. And you won't regret going to the LTT. The ooey gooey toffee cake is amazing, and even though the lunch didn't totally wow us (it was okay, just nothing really special), I would go back in a heart beat just for that dessert. Mmm... :goodvibes We've eaten at Boma twice now but only for breakfast. It was wonderful, and I can't imagine that dinner would be any different. We also ate at Akershus (we don't have any children, I'm just a princess at heart princess:) and the food was average for a character meal, nothing spectacular, the basics, but getting to meet the princesses is wonderful. I'm sure your little princess will love it :) We're eating at Mama Melrose for the first time this trip but I've heard good things about it, I'm excited to try it! And those cupcakes at SR... Oh. My. Gosh. No words can even explain them, you just have to try'em!! Hope you have a wonderful trip and I'm looking forward to reading about it!!

Oh great! I hope you have a wonderful trip. We did boma dinner last winter and really liked it, it was our favorite meal.

We're back! Got in last night and ready to write some reviews. I apologize up front, my picture taking skills were seriously lacking, not to mention that I FORGOT almost every time. So, lots of meals without photos, and some with half eaten food :sad2:

Cinderella got sick on the trip and after a few days of fever we went to the ER while Stitch and Scrooge hit Hollywood Studios for some antibiotics, so I think my trip was a bit affected by this, and certainly Cindy's was! She barely ate at all, and I didn't enjoy my food like I usually do.

We were not as thrilled by our TS this time, but happily surprised by some counter service! I was shocked by this, we usually don't like that kind of food as much. Ok, here we go!

We flew into sunny FL and made it to MK around 1. We grabbed a bite right away at Sleepy Hollow- had to try those waffle sandwiches! We picked one of each to share and a rootbeer and water. Stitch immediately dove into the nutella one and was loving it, so was Cinderella. I thought it was good but didn't really eat much, just a bite or two. The chicken waffle was tasty, Stitch thought it was too spicy, and Cinderella loved the slaw on it and just ate that. The proscuitto one was probably the winner, we ALL liked it and I would go back for that one.
Scrooge: 3.5/5
Minnie: 4/5

WPE was a much anticipated dinner after the rave reviews here and I knew we would share bacon wrapped meatloaf and a pizza.

IMG_7519_zps4c9efda5.jpg

I was SO excited for this I think that was part of the problem, but I just didn't love it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. I thought the meatloaf was a little bland actually, and the potatoes with wine sauce were the best part of that dish. Scrooge agreed but Cindy seemed to like it, and she doesn't eat much meat.

IMG_7521_zps38538620.jpg

The 4 cheese pesto pizza :worship: DELISH! Scrooge and I both thought this was a winner and wished we had tried another pizza too!

IMG_7524_zpscbf2fd3b.jpg

Cheesecake.. what can I say? This was reallllly good. Loved the bruleed top and it was light and yummy, not heavy like some cheesecakes. Would definitely get this again!

Stitch got the kids mac and cheese and it was B.L.A.N.D! I was really surprised by this, he didn't finish it and he always eats lots of that. It had no seasoning and no cheese taste to speak of :confused3 He got frozen yogurt with cookies on it that no one ate. I tried a bite and it was "eh"

Scrooge: 3.5/5 He really liked the pizza, but since everything else was not great to him that's all he can do. Would go back for other things though, we think it has great potential
Minnie- same..

I was really hoping to just eat in the World Showcase this day, but it didn't happen.. we made the mistake of no breakfast and hitting rides that by 11 we were too starving to go that far.

No pics this day, but we got the Mongolian beef with fried rice and Togarashi seared tuna noodle salad
Beef- was good! the beef and veggies were cooked well and flavor of the sauce and rice was really tasty- the kids ate some too.
Tuna/noodles- Stitch loved the tuna and Cinderella tried the noodles. Scrooge liked it more than I did, though I thought it was fine.

We had strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Stitch didnt try either, Cinderella liked the chocolate and Scrooge and I both preferred the strawberry, though both were good. I would come back.

4/5

Chefs de France...

Stitch got the kids burger. I guess it was ok? He ate most and didn't complain. Fries were good, I stole a few :)
Cinderlla had the cheese puff pastry and ate about 1/3.. I tried it and thought it was yummy. So did Stitch and Scrooge.

Scrooge and I both got the prix fixe with short ribs. I got french onion soup- YUM :worship: it was soooo good. Cindy thought so too, and took over it, but I got most of the cheese, which is the best part, right?! Scrooge got the lobster bisque, which I didn't try but he said it was pretty good but salty. Scrooge really liked the short ribs dinner a lot. I thought it was basically a piece of tender pot roast tasting meat with blah noodles- I didn't eat the noodles and regretted not getting the chicken which someone next to us got and it looked wonderful.

Dessert was Profiterolles for Scrooge- YUM, I thought the were really good! He didn't read that they had ice cream, and imagined a cream puff so he was disappointed- his fault on that. I got the chocolate mousse which was also good. Stitch got a cookie to go and ate it the next day for a snack, it was good.

Scrooge: 4/5 for the short ribs!
Minnie: 5/5 for the soup, but it was definitely the best part. Service was not great and they were singing happy birthday to tables but didn't say anything to Stitch despite it being on the reservation and him wearing a button. Remy and his cart pusher were very cool though, we enjoyed that a lot. I wouldn't come back anytime soon, too many other places to eat!

Be Our Guest was one of our must do's, and it didn't disappoint!! They open at 10:30 and we skipped breakfast again so we definitely hungry by then. Scrooge and the kids hopped in line at 10 while I ran for a FP for Barnstormer and we waited on the bridge near the front of the line for a half hour. They passed out menus on the bridge to look at and we knew what we wanted before we got in which was nice.

IMG_7611_zps037942b3.jpg

Tuna Nicoise was good. I especially liked the olives and peppers in the salad, so did Scrooge. We shared this and I think he liked it more than I did.

IMG_7615_zps845c0f10.jpg

Turkey Sandwich was better IMO. Scrooge really liked it too. Bread and turkey were perfect and it's really big. I would absolutely get this again.

IMG_7610_zps6fae52cd.jpg

After seeing how Cinderella loved that french onion at Chefs, we got her some with a snack credit. Of course, she barely ate a bite. Scrooge and I had some and it was very good for a QS. Not as good as Chefs, but not far behind it.

IMG_7614_zps6b8a8faa.jpg

Scrooge got the passion fruit cream puff. He enjoyed it- he loves passion fruit. I am not as much into that, but it was really good. I would go for a chocolate one next time for sure!

IMG_7612_zpsc04afab8.jpg

I got the chocolate cupcake and you definitely have to eat it out of the plastic. Couldn't get it off lol. It was fine, I would skip it next time though. Nothing great about it, just average.

Scrooge: 5/5 He thought this was a great value.
Minnie: 5/5 It wasn't my favorite meal but the castle, food and experience were super for a QS and we will be back.

There were major kinks ordering though, it took us forever and we ended up with 3 receipts. We chose the rose room and it was nice and cool and quiet in there. Watch the picture, the beast appears for a flash of a second, if you're lucky you will see him.

Sanna was Scrooges pick for dinner and I was happy to go there, reviews have been excellent and I love those flavors. We went early and were seated right away. Before we checked in we went outside to watch the animals for a bit which the kids loved.

We started with bread service, but I didn't get a picture. This was the start of Cinderella not feeling well, I could see it in her eyes. She did dig into the bread though! We got plain, garlic and spicy naan with cucumber raita, red pepper hummus, coconut chutney, a jalapeno thing I don't see on the menu? and also one other spicy one not on the DIS menu... red chile maybe? All of the breads were wonderful and so were the dips. We all loved it.

IMG_7675_zpsed97228e.jpg

Stitch got a cheeseburger with veggies and potatoes. He ate it all, giving a little veggie to Cindy. They both got the punch with light up tink and buzz.

IMG_7676_zps62ea2649.jpg

Scrooge got the lamb vindaloo and durban shrimp with basmati. I had really talked up the slow cooked in gravy, saying he couldn't go wrong. He loves lamb and unfortunately, this was a major miss. It was extremely tough! How can slow cooked lamb be tough?! The shrimp was good, but he was not happy.

IMG_7677_zps68b030be.jpg

I got the durban chicken and green curry shrimp and thought both were fantastic . I would be happy to eat it again but would want to try more of their yummy menu- except the lamb of course!

Stitch got the yogurt parfait to go which I ate two days later- it was huge and tasty.
Scrooge got the tapioca which he thought was delicious
I got the trio and asked for no cake and 2 chai creams after how good it is and it really really was perfect. didn't even eat the other thing (maybe it was passion fruit something?)

Scrooge: 3.5/5 though I think he's just bitter about the lamb because he liked everything else a lot.
Minnie: 5/5 I loved this meal

Thank you for doing a food review. It never failed on our WDW trips one of us would get sick and end up in quick care or emergency rooms. :( I hope your little one started feeling better once she got meds. Keep those reviews coming. I love the thoughts of little ones about the food they ate. Kids are the true measure of what is really good and what is just tummy filling.

I forgot to add I had a Mango Lassi at Sanaa that was tasty, though not very creamy. It was mango-y, sweet and refreshing. Scrooge had two Mango Margaritas :cool1: He said they were great. I had a sip and they packed a punch.

I'm with you! I was disappointed by the meatloaf, too. I think their pizzas and salads are so much better!

I planned this breakfast at Akershus for my little princess. Cinderella is nothing if not girly- she parades around the house in dresses and dress up shoes all day and meeting them was not negotiable. Unfortunately, she was not feeling well and I don't think she ate more than one bite. The interaction was great, if a little rushed, and she was very into the princess parade. No pictures of the food

Stitch loved the cold bar- pastries and salmon were a hit with him! I think he had one sausage and a bite of cheesy potatoes. Scrooge had a bagel, some fish, yogurt, and everything on the hot plate. He thought the eggs were a little runny and really liked the potatoes. It was actually good bacon and sausage! I had a yummy pastry and some fruit, then the hot stuff. I enjoyed it all and would go back for both the characters and food. It was Stitch's actually birthday and they brought a cupcake.

Though I have heard the disappointment of all about the napoleon changing in France, I still had to get one. I was bummed to skip it last year, so I didn't know what the old one was like. I thought this was good, but I only got 2 bites lol, my little vultures had to get in on the action as well :lmao: I give it a 4/5 and wish I had gotten more there but we just weren't hungry enough yet.

Kids got kaki gori in Japan. I knew they would want it, and I had a slight hope because people seem to like it, but I just realllly don't. The flavors are so fake tasting, and it was really just a snow cone. Not any finer or more delicate, just ice with fake colors and flavors :crazy2: Scrooge and the kids liked it ok, they didn't eat more than half all together though. Scrooge actually says 4/5 though! I would give it a 2/5 on a generous day.

We stopped by Kringla for SCHOOL BREAD! We also got a troll horn for Stitch, and Cinderella shocked me by choosing the chocolate thing that looks like a viking hat! I thought the berry cream puff would suck her in, but nope! I am oh so glad she did, because that was awesome. The school bread was shared between Scrooge and I and we both loved it :worship: tons of custard, and the delicate sweetness with coconut sprinkles made for the perfect combo. I wish I had gotten one the first day in Epcot as well! The troll horn was just fair IMO. It was the least favorite at Kringla, but Stitch ate it all. We had these snacks later at the hotel and they traveled well.

On our way out we got nachos in Mexico. I should have known not to do it... They looked like theme park nachos, and that's what they were. The fake cheese sauce, the beef, it was fine, but nothing special. The tacos and other offerings looked far superior, I only chose nachos as an easy share between the 4 of us. Stitch was crazy about the churitos though! He ate all but two I made him share with Scrooge and I. 3/5

I was too full for dinner later but Scrooge got a beer and brat in Germany, and we chose a regular hot pretzel for "dessert" for everyone to try. He said the beer and brat were just ok, and the pretzel was dry and kind of hard :confused3 not what I thought! I anticipated soft, warm deliciousness. Stitch got a turkey leg with a rootbeer float in the US pavilion. He LOVES the turkey legs and he went to town with it. He had one sip of the float and declared it "spicy" which is what he calls all soda :) The float barely had any ice cream, again, I was surprised after seeing pictures with it loaded up. It was just ok and most got thrown out. 5/5 for the turkey leg, 3/5 for Germany

AK day! We were able to switch our 9:50 reservation for an 8 am, which I love for getting in before park opens. It's so peaceful and nice to see things without the mad crowd rush.

This was another first for us, and there was definitely more of a wait here than any of the character breakfasts we have had. Not sure why, but they had good seating outside to wait. They did the picture with Donald outside first, then we headed in. Our waitress was awesome, she said to go up and get food and she would come get us if characters came to our area, and she did just that :thumbsup2 this was my favorite service all week.

IMG_7720_zps328b7f94.jpg

IMG_7719_zps5f4d09cb.jpg

Our camera battery actually died right after this picture :scared1: that meant no food pics, and no safari pictures either. Not good!

The food was good though. Stitch was into mickey waffles and tater tots, with some fruit. He got a second plate with pastries and sausage, but the sausage looked pale and yucky and he only ate a little of the pastry. Scrooge thought the ham with mustard sauce was awesome, not sure what else he had or liked? I know he wasn't wild about the bobotie, and I wasn't either. I had a tasty fritata, cheese grits, seasoned potatoes and fruit first, then got some ham, bobotie, and a wonderful bread pudding thing next. I really liked Tusker! 5/5 from all.

Oh, there was one thing that bothered me: they take your picture with Donald, then print a million copies in different sizes, THEN ask you to BUY it. Um... ? That makes no sense to me. We passed because I was irritated with the whole thing. Print ONE, ask us before you print more, what a waste! Dd was sick and the picture wasn't very good. At Akershus they took a picture with Belle, then gave us a nice folder with one large and 4 4x8s I believe. It was included in the price of the meal.

Boma, again NO PHOTOS! I am a photo loser, sorry guys!

This was our favorite last year and the only repeat we had booked. It was not as good, not sure why? We still really enjoyed it, and Scrooge still prefers it to Sanaa, but I am not sure I do! I would still return though :goodvibes

Cinderella FINALLY ate something: meatballs and 1 piece of honey dew. Oh well, at least she ate.

Stitch had 2 chicken legs, a little pasta with a meatball, fruit, and I think some other stuff. He loves chicken legs so he was happy. He also ate a zebra dome, which he loved, and a passion fruit thing.

Scrooge really enjoyed the ribs. He got the beef, ribs, bobotie (didn't learn this morning, huh?) and various salads and carrot soup. he gave it 4/5

I got a rib, some beef, salmon and paneer- the salmon was very good, and the paneer was nice and spicy in a tomato sauce. The roasted veggies were also yummy, as was my fav- the curried pasta salad. The soups I was excited for but didn't love! The carrot was too sweet, the coconut curry was good but also sweet/spicy, and the seafood had mostly couscous.. they were the big miss for me. Zebra dome and coffee thing were my favorite desserts, the banana bread pudding was SUPER banana flavored, I much prefer O'hana's version. 4/5

Another MK day, and another day of Cinderella not feeling well or eating much. Lunch was at 11:55 at LTT, so we hit the park for rope drop and did all of fantasy land land and Haunted Mansion before checking in about 15 minutes early for lunch. They seated us immediately, which was the case most times we checked in early.

Our waiter came by for drink orders and told us the pot roast was his favorite thing on the menu (which I already had told Scrooge was popular on the Dis) and Scrooge changed his tune from burger to pot roast- very wise decision, Scrooge! This was his favorite meal of the trip! I admit I was a bit jealous after a bite and would probably go for that next time. Tender meat, great flavor, good amount of veggies.. it was pot roast perfection. Stitch was a fan too, and Cindy refused to try it.

IMG_7765_zpsc6e8a77a.jpg

I was up for something fresh and went with the Colony Salad. It was good. Had all the makings of a full meal salad and covered the savory to the sweet really well. My only thing is that I make a very similar salad at home.. and mine might be better.. Soooo I wouldn't get it again, but would definitely recommend it! It was very big and I didn't finish it, not close.

IMG_7768_zpsa6f08635.jpg

Stitch got the kids mac and cheese. I wish I had pushed him to get something else, but I had read good things about it, though some say it's like Stouffers. Well, it was. Or worse really. It was bland and had the odd soft texture of canned Mac and cheese! We are strictly homemade, or occasionally trader joe's frozen people (real cheese!) and he didn't eat more than 2 bites. I had some and Scrooge did too, but it's just not for us. The buffet mac and cheese at Boma was better. This was the only miss at this meal.

IMG_7766_zps83afbe01.jpg

Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and chocolate cake split between us for dessert, obviously the toffee cake was the winner. It was everything I thought it would be- a warm cookie like thing with ice cream, chocolate and toffee bits. The chocolate cake was standard, we would skip that next time. Oh, and we got the rolls with honey butter- Heaven! That butter was so good, slightly sweet, soft (hate when they give you hard butter from the fridge) and I plan to make some at home now.
Scrooge: 5/5 favorite meal hands down
Minnie: 5/5 also really enjoyed it, though I prefer more exciting food we thought this was just tasty and will absolutely be back

I hadn't ever planned on going to Pinocchio Village Haus for dinner, but we were not in the area of Cosmic rays and I don't care for Pecos Bills, and Stitch wanted chicken nuggets. We never get them at home, so we decided to check there. Yep! We even got the adult version for him, which was very good and real chicken. Score! Cinderella surprised us by eating a couple of these and maybe 2 fries.

IMG_7810_zpsdb70dff3.jpg

Scrooge got a meatball sub, which he was shocked to find he really liked. It was fresh, hot and much better than expected from QS.

IMG_7813_zps37c71b08.jpg

I asked the girl working which flatbread was best, and she said she doesn't eat meat so the margherita is her favorite and she recommends it. I went with her suggestion and am SO glad I did. It was one of my favorite things on the trip! I liked it almost as much as the WPE pizza, and would totally dig into one right now. Sorry the picture is awful, I gave some to Stitch and ate a bite before taking a pic

IMG_7808_zps320f9978.jpg

Scrooge: 5/5 for QS quality and portion size
Minnie: 5/5, I loved this

This is the day I took Cinderella to the ER. Scrooge took Stitch to HS, and they decided to just head to Toy Story Mania and skip trying to get Jedi training since we couldn't split up to do both. They had fun doing TSM twice and Star Tours 4 times before we caught up with them. Cinderella and I spent 3 hours from start to finish at the hospital and were able to meet the boys for lunch at Mama Melrose- we had gotten the fantasmic package. This was the busiest restaurant we had reservations for, I went to check in 15 minutes early and they said don't bother, try back :confused3 we went in the shop across the way to kill time and after we did check in it was about 10 minutes wait.

What I was excited for was the chance to get some apps with the deal :thumbsup2 The kids appetizers were pretty blah, we chose the raw carrot and celery for Cinderella, as she loves raw veggies. Scrooge and I decided to share the calamari and tomato/mozzarella. I didn't get pictures of the appetizers, but it was fine. The calamari was good, but there really wasn't much of it at all. They filled the plate with peppers to make it look like more. I did love all of the sauces they served with it though! I dipped bread in them :goodvibes The tomatoes and mozzarella were tasty and fresh. NO salt though, and none on the table. Our waitress was rushed and pretty scarce throughout the meal, so I didn't get to ask for it.

Stitch got the kids chicken parmesan. He ate a little more than half I'd say. I tried it and the chicken was good, I didn't really like the flavor of the sauce though.. He didn't complain.

IMG_7855_zps485f71e2.jpg

Scrooge went with the Osso Bucco. He really enjoyed this apart for the fattiness. He said the flavor was good and he would get it again.

IMG_7858_zpsa7ed7977.jpg

I made a poor choice for myself. I chose the penne alla vodka with shrimp instead of the seafood pasta dish or the steak- which I had planned to decide between. I went with something I thought Cindy might like (and she actually did eat it!) more than what I would like. The shrimp were really good and there were 5 of them. The sauce was just not great for me, I think Bertolli makes a better vodka sauce!

IMG_7857_zps9f67f7e6.jpg

We asked for dessert to go as this meal was taking too long and the waitress was s.l.o.w. Stitch got the spaghetti and meatball cupcake which is cute... and HUGE. Scrooge and I got the sampler that comes with, and it was pretty small- Stitch's cupcake weighed about 5 times what our combined dessert weighed :rotfl2: I ate the tiramisu in the room and tried a small bite of the others. They were all tasty. No one ate the cupcake aside from trying a bite and it was standard. No pics as everything was a bit (very) messy from the trip back to the hotel.

Scrooge: 4/5 he thought it was good and would return
Minnie: 3/5 this was my least favorite TS this week, but I would go back and try something else

We headed over to PP at 6 to grab food before Fantasmic and there was virtually no line  Then it took us 25 minutes to order and get out of there :confused3 we weren't sure if we could bring food into the show and this was a bit stressful. good news- you can!

Stitch got an adult cheese pizza with salad, water and a cappuccino cupcake. He split the pizza with Cinderella and both ate it on the walk over, happy as can be. I didn't try it... I ate the salad which was fine and the cupcake which was really really tasty!

Scrooge was going to skip dinner and get something after but then he saw a meatball sub, since he had enjoyed Pinnochio's so much last time he went for another. Unfortunately, he said it was not nearly as good. Not sure why, I didn't try either. Wonder if it was the delay in eating it or what. Cinderella and stitch ate his salad and they liked it. He had the cupcake and I guess thought it was ok, he didn't mention it.

Fantasmic was wonderful :goodvibes

Scrooge: 2.5/5 his least favorite
Minnie: 5/5 for the cupcake!
Stitch seemed to like it, so did Cindy so that counts for us!

We did decide on MK for our last day, and it had to be lunch at CHH. We really liked it last year. We went at 11ish and were some of the first there and it was so nice and quiet!

Stitch got the adult fish and chicken meal with a frozen lemonade for dessert- we asked for an extra plate and cup and he shared this with Cinderella. They both liked it a lot.

Scrooge got the fish and chips and it was gone fast lol, he definitely would return. Apple crisp was also eaten entirely.

I got the salmon with couscous and broccoli- it was tasty and a great value. Not too much food, I shared the broccoli with the kids so they would eat some veggies lol. the salmon was cooked nicely and the couscous had lots of flavor. Apple crisp which I split with stitch- it was warm and tasty.. I wish we had ice cream for it!

Scrooge: 5/5
Minnie: 5/5 we have always been happy here

After doing one more ride and walking around a bit Stitch decided he wanted to spend his last hours in WDW at... The pool! It was our hottest day and the park was packed (a wait for swiss family treehouse??) and that was fine with us. With credits to burn Scrooge said he wanted a dole whip. I reminded him we didn't love it last year and he said he wanted it anyway. Vanilla with pineapple juice float. I was skeptical and got in line. Well.. I am a convert and so is Scrooge! Last time we did pineapple and pineapple and it was WAY too much pineapple for us. But the all vanilla with pineapple juice was just delicious :cool1: 5/5!

We also grabbed a few treats at Main Street Confectionary
Stitch and Cinderella got cake pops- ick. They were so sweet and the colored sugar outside ruined them. The inside was fine but to get through the white chocolate and sugar.. Most got thrown out. Even both kids thought they were too sweet. 2/5 for the inside being ok
Cinderealla got cotton candy (talk about sweet!) as a bribe for taking her medicine. She and stitch both had a few pinches and we threw it out when we got home. Can you rate cotton candy? It was sugar!

Scrooge got a milk chocolate mickey PB cup. He thought it was good, but he's a peanut butter guy, and this didn't have ENOUGH pb flavor. 4/5 and it's big and cute :)

I got the toffee bar- HUGE and yummy. almost too much chocolate and nuts, they drown out the toffee flavor so I had to bite off the outside to get to just the toffee to taste it, but yum. Great value too, I ate it over 3 days and shared a little with Cinderella and Scrooge.

After swimming we changed and got some food to take to the airport.. or not. The Magical Express time was not 3 like we thought, but 3:25 whoops! Then it was late by about 20 minutes. Then it was too full! They sent another one just for us and 1 other family which was cool, and I hate getting to the airport that early anyway. Gave us time to relax and reorganize our bags and the kids to watch tv and play games in the lobby. And eat a little!

Stitch got sushi, paid OOP for this. He ate most of it (he loves raw fish) and I didn't try it.

Scrooge and I got a burger with fries and a chicken burrito with chips to share. We grabbed the kids juice and Mickey rice krispy treats to take home.
The burrito was surprisingly yummy, and I wish I had just eaten it. I ate about 1/3 (chicken, rice, beans, peppers, lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheese and guac, and man did she overstuff this, it barely rolled closed) of it, saving the rest for the airport or Scrooge. He never did try it and we threw it out  The burger was not for me. I don't like raw onion or well done meat, I am not a huge burger fan for that matter! I had a bite and Scrooge ate it. The fries were ok, but we didn't really eat them. 5/5 for the burrito and rice krispy treats 3.5/5 for the burger

other snack credits were:
carrot cake cookie- HEAVEN! so good, I wish I had gotten another. HUGE and moist and delicious 5/5
butterfinger cookie- just fair. not any butterfinger flavor, just a slight pb flavor we took it on the plane (got it the night before) and it crumbled completely 2.5/5
fresh rice krispy treat from the candy place in HS with reeses pieces on the ears only- 5/5 this was awesome. kids and I both loved it
another plain mickey treat with chocolate ears- these are just good. I don't even like them that much, but these are the best. super cute to share as gifts too!
