I will be turning 60 while visiting Disneyworld in March. Does anyone have a suggestion for a restaurant to celebrate at? I was thinking about the California Grill or Narcoosee's, but I am open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

My first thought was California Grill. Dine and watch Wishes from the Contemporary rooftop. HDDR makes a big deal about birthdays and it's a fun show, but as you mentioned two upscale places, it probably wouldn't be your thing. Happy birthday!

Victoria and Albert's is the only AAA five diamond restaurant in FL (I think). It's supposed to be wonderful! I'd go there!

I did the CG brunch and Narcoossees dinner for my decade birthday in September...that was a great combination and I would highly recommend it :)!

1) For YOU OWN satisfaction for attaining the age, I would do Victoria and Albert's.
2) Getting the "royal treatment" at a 5-star always makes me feel special.
3) If looking for celebration and personal attention, any eatery will do, as recognition is strictly up to the SERVER's initiative.

"Supposed to be" and delivers. V&A's is a wonderful experience from arrival to departure. If you can budget the evening, do it.

I've not dined at CG but we did enjoy Narcoosee's. The service and food was very good. The restaurant itself was so loud that we had to yell at each other over our two-top to be heard. I wouldn't recommend it for a birthday celebration. The brunch at both CG and Narcoosee's get good reviews and sounds like a much calmer atmosphere. I'd pick those instead of dinners at these establishments.

Citricos at GF would be more my speed and you can go out on the dock to watch the fireworks afterwards if you time it right.

I haven't dined at Artist Point but hear very good things. Lovely atmosphere, good food, normally good service. I also like the idea of Jiko because I have an infatuation with AKL and all it offers. Infatuation because I have no idea what it's really like!

V&A. If you don't want to spend the money, then maybe Jiko or Flying Fish.

Thanks everyone for your ideas. I still haven't decided, but you have given me a lot of options to consider.
