Birthday card size for autographs

I am planning on bringing birthday cards to character meals for characters to sign for DH. Would characters such as Winnie the Pooh and friends be able to sign a regular sized birthday card, or would it need to be an oversized card? I'm not sure I want to carry an oversized card around with me all day, but wasn't sure if the signatures would fit on a regular sized card. We have taken pictures with characters, but I've never had them sign an autograph before.

The autograph book pages are probably comparable to the size of a horizontal open birthday card. But I guess try and get cards with a lot of white space at the bottom if possible. Some do need to sign bigger than others!
