Day 9 Sunday December 14, 2003
Went to breakfast with mom and dad at the Yacht Club Galley. Pretty good buffet and Danny got eggs benedict. We all split up for the day and we went downtown to shop and boy did we shop. I got a jacket and a sweatshirt and Danny got a hat, polo and sweatshirt. Bought some mugs and other stuff and soaps and bath bombs at Basin. Danny got me a pearl Mickey head necklace for my birthday its so cute I love it!
Back to the villas to meet mom and dad to go to the pool. Danny and I did the waterslide twice it was chilly but fun. Swam around had fun in the whirlpool and then to the Jacuzzi for a while. Back to the room to get ready for my birthday dinner at California Grill. Our PS was for 8:00 and they told us the wait for a window seat would be another 45 minutes we said wed wait. Had a drink at the bar and then our table was ready and it was perfect! Danny tried the sushi (yuck) but he liked it and he had the veal chop and said it was great. The rest of us got the pork tenderloin and goat cheese ravioli and a flat bread. All was delicious.
Just as our meal was served the fireworks went off (9:15) It was fabulous. They were for MCVMCP so it was the new Wishes show with the finale going off all around it was so beautiful! We also were able to see the water parade everything was just fantastic. They brought me over a chocolate cake with a birthday sign made out of chocolate. It was a fantastic birthday dinner and a highlight of the trip. Great conversation and lots of laughs. Mom and Dad paid for dinner. Went out on the observation deck before heading back home. Had a drink and listened to moms new CD of the drifters and off to bed smiling.
