Day 4 Tuesday December 9, 2003
Up at 7:15 slept OK. Got a couple of muffins downstairs and had coffee in the room. Met up to go to Seaworld. Had a great day and did some things we didnt get to last year. Started with the stingrays and dolphins love them! Had a quick bite for lunch and of course went and had our free beers. The Cirque type show was cool but short. The end of the Shamu show, the whales wouldnt cooperate having personal issues too funny.
Dolphins and Clyde and Seamore show was really cute and funny. Did Kraken and loved it great ride, we even went back and did it again later in the day and mom even tried it. Went on Atlantis 3 or 4 times brought a change of clothes as we were soaked! Lots of laughs and took funny pictures coming down the drop.
Left the McClays at around 5:30 and back to the hotel to change to go dinner at Jiko with mom and dad. We had been to Boma last trip and loved it so we decided to try dinner here. Walked around the hotel a little and then to dinner. I had the monkfish and everyone else had the filet. Dannys was too rare the 1st time but it was good when they brought it back. Had a great flatbread first with cheeses and olives. All of us tried a different wine, mine was ok but everyone else liked theirs. Got pistachio crème brule for dessert nothing special and a yummy zebratini. Total bill was $256 with tip. Nice meal and good conversation.
Walked around the savannah and met a nice cast member (Brett?) who talked to us - a lot. Saw a bunch of animals and then went to the store there. Bought a couple of things and then back to the room by around 10:30. We had stopped on the way home from Sea World and got some beer and wine and Captains (all the staples we needed!) and sat out on the balcony having a drink before hitting the hay. Great day nice weather and lots of laughs!
