Day 3 Saturday December 8, 2003
Up early way to early after a 4 oclock night, but who needs sleep we are in Disney! Walked around the hotel and got some coffee really cute! We met up at the beach Club to check into our room and were able to book two one bedrooms for the extended day! And we are off to MGM! Turned in our APs and got Bryce a Birthday Badge (it was his 9th b-day yesterday but we told him we would celebrate it today!) Went on RNR first its still amazing! Then off to do lots of stuff.
TOT was not working in the AM. Went to lunch at Prime Time Café (I was able to reschedule this PS). What a riot! Cousin Mark was our server and he was lots of fun. I think everyone got yelled at or picked on. Couple of people came and sang to Bryce. We were all glad we came and the food was good. Most of us either had the fried chicken or the chicken sandwich. Kids got sundaes and then we are off again.
Went to Millionaire and a girl form the DIS got in the hot seat so on the way out I went by to say hi. Met her and a couple of other folks but I didnt remember her name only Town Crier. I got in the top 10! Saw the Indiana Jones show (blanket from the plane came in handy as the seats were cold!) and Little Mermaid and then back to see if TOT was open it was! Off to Fantasmic. Fantastic as always still gives me the chills. I bought one of those light up things that says things when you spin it around.
Took the boat back to the hotel to put on warmer clothes (nice day probably 70* but chillier at night) and to finally check into our room Room number 453. As we are getting ready Illuminations started and we watched it from our balcony! How cool is that! Room is very pretty and in good shape. Went to see McClays room #428. Nice for a studio but it is a handicapped room so I said we should try to change tomorrow. Balcony was tiny and you could barely fit out there but it had a nice view of the pool. They werent quite ready for bed yet so we all walked over to the Boardwalk.
Went to the ESPN store and played a couple of games and then got pizza and beer on the boardwalk. Got back to the room at about midnight and saw the fireworks from Pleasure Island loving this view! Into bed and feel right to sleep tired and happy!
