Day 12 Wednesday December 17, 2003
Slept pretty crappy and up at around 8:00. Up to pack and to get ready to go home. We went with mom and dad to resort hop. Went to the Polynesian for breakfast tonga toast (yummy but way too sweet for me) and Danny had steak and eggs. Walked around a little bit there then took the monorail over to the Grand Floridian. What a beautiful lobby and great Xmas tree and gingerbread house. Everything was very pretty but I dont know if I would stay here though.
Took the monorail to MK and caught the boat to the Wilderness Lodge. It was very windy and pretty chilly today. Walked around there but couldnt get in to see a villa. Lodge is beautiful but really not our style so glad we waited to buy into the Beach Club. Back to MK by boat again and took the monorail back around to the Poly. Drove to downtown and ate a great lunch at Wolfgang Express a chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken pizza. Not feeling too great and sad we are leaving but I guess I am ready to go home.
Got to the airport at about 4:00 for our 6:00 flight and they tell us our flight is delayed. Then they tell us they are getting us another plane and we will take off at 6:15 but then we didnt take off until around 7:00. Oh well much better than the way we got here. It was another great trip. So glad to know that we will be back again and again due to our DVC purchase. Thanks Mickey see ya real soon ..
