Day 11 Tuesday December 16, 2003
Started the day off at MGM so we rode RNR and TOT for breakfast! Then did the Movie Ride and Backlot Express. While we were sitting on a bench, the red phone from the Millionaire game rang so Meagan and I ran to it they wouldnt let Meagan play (have to be 18) so I got to answer. I was a complete stranger and got a pin! I was nervous about answering but it was fun! The kid started out saying can you hear me now? So I said yes I can and the audience started laughing. So he said no, Can you hear me now is the marketing slogan for which wireless phone company. Too funny and I got the answer right!
Mom and dad took off and we went back to check into our second room (#472) - they couldnt keep us in the same room for the last night so we moved into a 1 bedroom and so did the McClays. Our room overlooked the canal and the pool (didnt see the alligator) and they got the Epcot view. Back over to Epcot and met up with mom and dad at Off Kilter. I was happy to finally get to see them as every time I have seen them they are just ending their set! We got chips and a beer in UK and listened to the show. We were planning to drink around the world (well at least Danny and I were.)
Had a beer in Canada and then to the UK where we saw the Holy Grail what a riot laughed a lot. France for a glass of wine and to watch the mime with the balloons. Think we went to the American Adventure then got a Kiran (?) beer in Japan and Danny got a sake (yuck!). Watched the candy lady and she made me a hummingbird (which I later lost!) Met up with the McClays. Got a shot of goldshlager and a beer in Germany. We went with the McClays to China to eat and had a mai-tai. Pretty good food but it just took to much time out of my Epcot touring. Got a Ringes (?) beer in Norway didnt like it so I got a margarita in Mexico!
Watched the fireworks from there again cried a little as tomorrow is our last day. Went to the store and bought the tree skirt for $75 I had wanted as my birthday gift from mom and dad. Back to the room and Danny basically passed out and walked to the closet thinking it was the bathroom (boy did mom and I laugh!) Had a drink with mom and dad on the patio patio was cool in this room as it spread across both rooms. Off to bed at around 12:30.
