birthday at seaworld/dine with shamu

hi everyone we have booked dine with shamu for ds's 14th birthday in August - shouls we let them know in advance that it is a birthday celebration or will doing it when we get to the meal be ok? also does anyone have any other ideas for making his day at seaworld special?? i know disney parks do a birthday badge thing - does seaworld do anything similar?
