Has anyone celebrated a birthday at Raglan Road? ( I asked over on the cake thread if you could get a cake there.) We'll be celebrating DH's bday at RR next month and the CM did note that on the reservation. Just wondered what they may do there like sing, decorate the table or nothing.

Never tried celebrating a birthday there ... maybe they'll give your DH some complimentary bread pudding?

Try the Celtic Sangria when you're there ... it's fabulous! :thumbsup2

They aren't owned by Disney, so I'm not sure if they'd do the "Disney" stuff like decorating the table or using Mickey sprinkles.

I'm having dinner at RR on my bday, too :goodvibes I don't expect them to do anything "Disney", just looking forward to the good food and the live music. And I'll make sure to try the Celtic Sangria :drinking1

Never been there for a birthday, but if you're going late (when the band is playing), I'd let the host(ess) or your server know, and mention that you'd love for the band to play something for the victim. I'm sure they'd do something entertaining, if not embarrassing.

Good luck,

GB

That's kind of what I was thinking since it's festive place! We have an 8 p.m. ADR on a Fri. night so we can catch the band and the dancer. It just didn't seem like a sprinkle-decorated table kind of place, which is good; we'll need a non-Disney meal by the end of week I think.

I'll have to come up with a good song, or maybe just request Happy Birthday by the band. Thanks!

Hey, Brenda! You know we'll be stuffed on the ddp, so I hope no more comp. food (well, maybe an appetizer...;) ). If I could just get the band to play Rocky Top (for the ballgame the next day), he would be in heaven! I'm betting dh will try the beer flight, he's not much on sangria. Me, on the other hand, mmm.

Did you see Robert P's most recent Raglan Road review? Aside from the two standard beer flights they now offer a "create your own flight" option. I don't know about your hubby but Jay and I are gonna be all over that one!

I did read his review and I do like the "create your own" idea. Neither of us like really dark, heavy ale, so we can just pick what we like! I absolutely cannot wait for the bread pudding; I will probably go into a carb coma since I've had NO sugar or white flour for 6 weeks.
