Ok, we will be in HH for my sons 8th b-day. I was thinking of asking if we bought a sheet cake would they allow us to put it out at the nightly pool entertainment. What do you think? I have been there in the past where we sang to people for their birthday. My son seems to think he is missing out on a party enen thought we rented a hotel for a pool party in June (a few weeks early)

You can get them to make a cake for you, Then I'm sure they would allow it. Chef Gordon does a great job with these cakes. Just be sure to give advance notice!

My impression is that CM's love making a fuss over birthdays, so you certainly want to let the CM's know. If it is on a camp-fire night they may let him ring the bell and/or roast the first marshmellow. If its a Tuesday, (All-America Tuesday) and there are pool games they will most likely get a rousing Happy Birthday song going.

Cake always draws people. If you put a cake out and invited people over you'd get a crowd for sure. Heck, I'd be first in line! Not sure why the resort staff would mind as long as you cleaned up after yourself.

If you're going to be there end of August we'll be sure to sing to him with you. Enjoy!
