We will have a young lady in our party celebrating her sweet 16 at 1900 Park Fare. Does anyone have any experience with celebrating a birthday there? Do they do anything special? Any advice on how we can make the occasion the most special?
Thanks

I do know that when my dd turned 6 at WDW, we ate at the Crystal Palace. We had ps. When I made the ps, the CM asked if anyone was celebrating anything special. Of course I told her it was my dd's 6th b-day that day. The waitress brought out a huge cupcake with a candle on it, a card signed by all the Pooh characters, and the Pooh characters (Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore, Tigger) all sang Happy Birthday to her. The look on her face was priceless. I'ld suggest you call and see if they can note it on your ps. Or call GF directly and see what they would suggest. 16 is a very special b-day!!!!

Hi,
We just celebrated my son's 7th Birthday at 1900 Park Fair. The food was wonderful. The charactor interaction was great, Pooh spent a lot of time at our table. For Birthday's ALice and the Mad hatter come to your table while everyone sings Happy Birthday. You get a fairly large cupcake, vanilla cake with about two inches of white frosting. It was a nice place to celebrate his birthday.

My wife surprised me by arranging for us to celebrate my 37th birthday there. (God love her: she knows I have a soft spot in my heart for Mary Poppins:) )

Anyway, they did a great job: I got an autographed card & picture from Mary HERSELF ... and the characters came over and gave me a hard time about being so OLD.

I got a hat, a balloon, a cupcake and a jolly sing-along of "Happy Birthday," to boot.

Loved it. :earsboy:

Just make sure they KNOW it's a special birthday when you make the ressie, and then again when you check in. It'll be very special.

September 20th I celebrated my 47th birthday there. I did not tell them when I made the ressies. But if I had it to do all over again I would. They announce to the room that it is your birthday, give you a cupcake and everyone sings to you. Watch out for Alice. She likes to put a blob of icing form the cupcake on your nose. I did not receive anything else except a lot of attention from the characters. We had a blast!

September 25, 02 we celebrated my boyfriends birthday at the breakfast buffet at 1900 Park Fare. I made a note of a birthday when I made the PS and they confirmed it when we arrived.

After we were seated and eating Piglet came over with one of the servers and they made him standup and they then screamed to the entire restaurant that it was Michaels birthday and everyone sang to him!!

They brought over that large vanilla cupcake with lots of icing and sprinkles (kinda sweet for breakfast!) but that was all. We didnt not rcv a card or balloons or anything.

It was still very nice and he was very embarrassed!
