I meant to ask if you could get Mickey to call at home or to a cell number, not necessarily when visiting Disney.Mickey called our son on his third birthday, and Mousekeeping left a birthday card with a signed Mickey & Minnie photograph in our room. Just make sure that you let concierge know about the birthday when you check in and confirm that Mickey knows to call. We also requested balloons for our birthday boy at the front desk. They were free and finished off our birthday decorations perfectly.
I'm really not sure that Disney Junior still does phone calls, but Disney Enchanted Phone Calls offers them for a small fee. You can also write the characters a note, and they'll send a postcard. Just be sure to do so several weeks in advance to make sure it arrives before their special day.
