Birth Certificate OK or Passport needed?

We will be on the 3/31 3 day Sailing on the Magic only stopping in CC. Will a birth certificate and photo ID be ok, or is a passport required?

U.S. Citizen on a closed loop cruise = bc and govt ID is the minimum you need.
