* did not stay down, I puked all afternoon and even now am pretty uncomfortable. no dinner unless this clears, if it does I'll have a carbolite I should think, maybe an atkins cereal bar, maybe not, sometimes smooth is good on a sore throat.

eh, today was hectic, we had to strip out our kitchen, box up all our stuff and get it out for the guys coming in tommorow to refit it! however it led to me eating cookies :crazy: back on the wagon tommorow morning.

This is fascinating stuff! It doesn't seem like there's enough here to sustain life, but if it works for you , you go, girl! I admire your strength, and commitment.
Please tell me there's vitamins and fiber somewhere in your regimen...

it amazes me sometimes just how well my body has adapted to the very low calorie diet, now if I eat much over 1200 a day I gain!

I do take a soluble vitamin and mineral, folic acid tablet and fibre drink also, but I dont count the calories or carbs in those, I need them and it would only depress me! they are pretty low though.

every so often I have a bowl of vegetable soup, there is a low carb stuff that comes in packets, it's not very tasty though.

once I get my kitchen back (renovations happening!) I'm planning to try making stewed fruit with splenda....

cookies and no kitchen have conspired to cause a 2lb gain, I'm pretty narked. got to have a good week this week, I know this because a few gains and I'll fall off the wagon totally, I dont do very well with frustration/depressing stats.
 
I'm sending you success vibes, hang in there!

I'm not suggesting you do this right away, but if for some reason you decide Atkins isn't the right plan for you (I only say this because I had no success at it, not because I feel it doesn't work or anything), please consider Weight Watchers (if they have meetings in your neck of the woods, so much the better, but they also have it offered online). I always considered it as a last resort. It seemed like so much commitment to me. But now that I'm following it, I'm amazed at how well it fits into my lifestyle, and how well it works for me! Wow, I sound like an infomercial...off my soapbox now.

Again, don't get discouraged, don't give up on yourself, YOU CAN DO IT!

Hard to believe you are adapting to so few calories! You've come a long way and your success is astounding.

I took a week off journalling, to give me a little break and some perspective.

today looks like being busy so I'll most likely take my lunch out with me, I've been trying taking a packet of carbolite out and just asking for a pot of boiling water in cafes, usually they are really helpful. I think I found a really important trigger for me, I love sitting in a cafe, reading or chatting, but it always has lewd me down the path of hot chocolate and a biscotti to dunk before now. I'm working on finding a low carb biscotti recipe (that tastes good!) and the carbolite tastes just as good as cafe hot chocolate, better, it doesn't come with a free serving of dieters regret.
 
oh dear, I've been very depressed the last couple of weeks and just not able to come here and stay motivated.

I stayed the same last saturday and after a really good week lost 4lbs today! putting me at 261 :banana:
