My mother is Bingo obsessed and is wondering how many times a day/week (average) they play bingo on a 7 night cruise?

Thanks for the help!!

They started Bingo on Sunday and I believe the final jackpot went on Thursday night. Most days it was at least once, and some days there was a morning and an afternoon session. It was $25 for a strip of three cards per game, or $35 for a sheet of 6 cards per game. I'd say there were 5 games per session, or fairly close to that. On our cruise the final coverall jackpot went for over $5000!

If I remember correctly, it was twice on sea days, and once on port days. You can definitely get addicted. I think we maybe missed 2 games on our cruise in April.

And bingo on the Disney ships is a riot! We had done bingo on an Alaskan cruise, what a bore. What a difference with Disney! We had Que on our cruise last March, great Bingo King! Remember to "Share the Bingo Love!"

Do they also have bingo on the 3-day cruises? Also, do they let the children play or just the adults? :confused3

Yes, they have bingo on the Wonder 3 day cruises. We played several times this past December. Children can play, but an adult has to accept the prize since it is cash.

flexsmom - Once you buy the cards are they good for all games in that session? On a previous Carnival Cruise I played Bingo, paid $20, and the game was over very fast. This kind of turned me off the Bingo experience.

Wild4WDW - yes, regardless of what package you choose, you get a set of cards for each game within that Bingo session. I would say it was probably a little less than an hour long.....

Thanks so much for you help so far...you've all been tons of help. One more question though...you had to know it was coming :cool1:

While playing Bingo, do you use dabbers to cover the numbers or chips? Does Disney provide if it's dabbers or can you purchase these on the ships.

Thanks again!

There are not dabbers or chips. You play bingo in the show theatre and the bingo cards have little fold-over tabs on them. They work pretty well.

Thanks so much...I think my mom is all set to sit down and hopefully win herself some moolah :earseek:

Don't just let your mom have all the fun! You should give it a try. debloco is right...they make it exciting and fun. When decided to try the bingo I thought - senior citizens in a church basement zzzzzz. But it's nothing like that. On our last cruise the host had everyone screaming "Yeah Baby!" whenever they got a number. So for that hour or so, all you could hear was enthusiastic "Yeah Baby!"s coming from everywhere.
