Bill of Sale Template For private Car Sale?

We are hopefully selling our car thru Craigslist and are looking for a fair and good bill of sale template - does anyone have a website or idea where we can find one?

Check your state DMV website. The new owner will need a bill of sale to register the car. Many sites have a bill of sale or form that's signed. Also signature on the title.

For example, form required by NY State.

You'll probably have to sign off on the title and certify the mileage.

Make sure you have the title. Make sure you have a release for any liens (loans). Do you have a transferable warranty? Have the paperwork available.

Are you looking for a form that says something like sold as is? Try a google search or one of the home legal programs. Very easy to find.
