I refuse to pay rack rate, AP's help us a lot. I didn't know about the private dinners either until Lurkyloo. She posts such fantastic information.

I love your Root's family sessions, they are FANTASTIC!! Looks like we will be at the same M&M, I hope to say hi.

Okay - so when are we going to try to meet? I still haven't packed a thing and we will be on the road by this time tomorrow night!

I think it would be easier for you to decide on the meet, our plans are pretty flexible. I am the same as you about packing. You will get it done .

I don't blame you for keeping your Pop reservation. Packing up & moving two days in a row would be a bit crazy!

There was no way I was moving all our stuff for one night and we needed to make sure we kept the accessible room at Pop.

I figured I would type out a basic itinerary for a couple of reasons…

1. To see how far off track we get from the plans, because you know it will NOT go according to plan

2. Hopefully some DISers will see it and want to have some DISmeets with us. I know people are on vacation with their families and many family members don’t “get” the DISmeet concept . There are so many people I know from the boards and facebook that are going to be in WDW when we are and I am so hoping that we can meet them .

Thursday Dec. 1:
Fly to MCO, take the Magical Express to the BOARDWALK baby can you tell I am happy about this? We fell in love with this part of WDW and hope we have a great stay here. After checking in we have options, either staying around the Boardwalk eating at either the ESPN Club or Big River Grill or heading over to Magic Kingdom and eating a counter service. This is about the only night we would be able to see regular Wishes. I am opting for going straight to MK this way we can see the Castle lighting on our first night. I have to call Toni and wish her a Happy Birthday as well .

Friday Dec. 2:
Disney Hollywood Studios day - our main goals this day are Dining with an Imagineer at the Hollywood Brown Derby and riding Bill’s favorite ride Toy Story Mania. Also possibly The Great Movie Ride, The Backlot Tour, and a DHS day is NOT complete for us if we aren’t seeing the Beauty and the Beast show and having dinner at 50’s Prime Time Cafe.

Saturday Dec. 3:
Epcot World Showcase Day - Akershaus Restaurant Breakfast, seeing as many Holidays around the World storytellers as we can see. Dinner at Tutto Italia, any guesses as to whether we get a man or woman server?? We love Italians then off to our spot for Illuminations.

Sunday Dec. 4:
DHS day – Breakfast at Cape May Café, then boat to DHS, finishing up what we didn’t do on Friday. Also, we are focusing on Streetmosphere people, One Man’s Dream, and Mulch, Sweat, and Shears. Dinner at Yachtsman’s Steakhouse.

Monday Dec. 5:
Epcot Future World Day – Sleep in, Ellen’s Universe of Energy, shopping at Mouse Gears, Seas with Nemo, Talk Turtle with Crush then lunch at Sunshine Seasons. Journey into the Imagination with Figment, Captain EO, Soarin fast passes (hopefully we will have gotten them earlier in the day) , Living with the Land, then dinner at Garden Grill. Back to Boardwalk Villas hang out with the resort and pack.

Tuesday Dec. 6:
Split Stay to Pop Century, No Park Day - Have luggage services transfer our stuff to Pop Century. Take a boat to DHS, then grab the bus to Pop Century to check in. Take a bus to DTD, lunch at Earl of Sandwich, dessert at Ghirardelli’s, shop, go back to Pop to get settled in. Get dressed to go to the California Grill and see Holiday Wishes.

Wednesday Dec. 7:
Magic Kingdom/MVMCP Day – Sleep in, Magic Kingdom, Tomorrowland attractions, lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table, Fantasyland attractions, Adventureland attractions. Counter service dinner, which parade we will see and if we stay after Holiday Wishes depends on the weather.

Thursday Dec. 8:
Animal Kingdom Day – Kilimanjaro Safari’s, Rifiki Planet Watch, walking Trails, lunch at Flame Tree BBQ (if it is warm enough), Tough to be a Bug, and either the Lion King or Nemo show. Hoping to track down DeVine as well. Bus to the Polynesian, ‘Ohana dinner. (Sending Tailor, Toni’s daughter a HAPPY BIRTHDAY text message)

Friday Dec. 9:
Tracy’s Birthday - Staying the night at the GRAND FLORIDIAN woo hoo. Check in at the Grand Floridian, go to the Gingerbread House, check out the resort. We have booked Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Lounge, hopefully by the time tea is over the room will be ready. After getting ready for dinner we will be meeting down at the piano in the lobby to be escorted for our private dinner.

Saturday Dec. 10:
Animal Kingdom Day – Check out of the Grand Floridian (cry), go to the Poly for breakfast at Kona Café, then off to AK to finish up what we missed on the 8th. I think we are going to DTD to AMC to see the Muppets and do the “Fork and Screen”. Why not have someone waiting on us while we watch the “most sensational inspirational MUPPET SHOW”??? We are thinking of doing the 4pm show since the D23 Magic and Merriment madness will be the next two days and we need to be refreshed. I will use the time to pack up most of the room as well since I won’t have much time later.

Sunday Dec. 11:
Get to Epcot for 9am check in for D23’s Magic and Merriment. We had already booked LeCellier with the Candlelight Processional package to see Neil Patrick Harris. Seeing him is included in the Magic and Merriment, but we didn’t want to lose the LeCellier reservation. So we are still going to our ADR. After the CLP we have to make our way over to MK for MVMCP. Since we are going to it earlier in the trip we will not be staying the entire party. Back to Pop to sleep.

Mon. Dec. 12:
Magic and Merriment Day 2, they have us going to breakfast at Columbia Harbor House, not sure if we are going to that or not, all depends on when our Cinderella’s Castle Suite Tour is. Here is how they have the rest of the day set up:

Group 1
10:00 a.m.: Guests take bus from Tomorrowland back to Creative Services
10:00-12:00 p.m.: Tour of Creative Services backstage (Holiday services with Lisa Borotkanics, Scenic Services with Patrick Logan, Parade Barn with Angela Bowles)
12:00-4:00 p.m.: Free time for Cinderella Castle Suite Tour and to get to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Group 2
12:00 p.m.: Guests take bus from Tomorrowland back to Creative Services
12:00-2:00 p.m.: Tour of Creative Services backstage (Holiday services with Lisa Borotkanics, Scenic Services with Patrick Logan, Parade Barn with Angela Bowles)
2:00-4:00 p.m.: Free time for Cinderella Castle Suite Tour and to get to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
4:00 p.m.: Guests meet at front entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom
4:00-4:45 p.m.: Walk back to Kilimanjaro Safaris
5:30-6:15 p.m.: Reception at Flame Tree Gardens
6:30-8:30 p.m.: Dinner reception at Camp Minnie-Mickey

They are supposed to have busses waiting to take us to the TTC or DTD after the dinner is over. Back to the room so I can finish packing.

Tuesday Dec. 13:
On our last day we always go back to DHS, it’s our little tradition. We will need to be back at Pop by 1pm to wait for the Magical Depress as Nebo calls it. I hate this ride back to the airport, it means going back to the real world.



If anyone wants to meet us even if our park days don’t match up please either tell me here on the thread, in a PM, or on Facebook. Our days except for the 11th and 12th are flexible and we would love to meet some DIS’ers.

I am so excited for you guys! Your trip looks like it will be one to remember for sure! And, as a bonus, I will have another one of your trip reports to read! I was staying at Pop Century in May and spotted you guys, but it was the first day of my trip and I was tired from the flight.
