Does anyone have the bilibo toy? I am debating on one for my almost 1 year old for christmas and possibly my almost 5 year old. Do your kids have it? Do they play with it much? Is it worth it to by 2?

I loved hte idea of this toy, but my dcs never used it. Ended up selling it at a yard sale.

My 2 year old loves hers- she "climbs the mountain" and sits in it to look at books all the time. She uses it as a bed for her stuffed animals, and likes to send it spinning across the floor. I want a 2nd one, but not enough to spring for one right now.

OK, I had to google this. From the thread title, I thought you might be referring to new toys for The Hobbit.
Looking at Amazon, it reminds me of Phineas and Ferb's toy platypus. ;)

My kids have each had one for years and I have gotten my money out of that thing over and over. It is everything from a basket for flowers to a helmet to a stepping stone. It seems they are forever finding something new to use them for. My daughter is 12 and still uses it. And, I believe they are indesctructible. Ours have taken a beating and are still in perfect condition.

My kids have each had one for a couple of years. They do play with it. They use it to carry toys, they rock in it, use it for a stool, we spin them in it. We have the little ones too and they used those in the sandbox and the pool this past summer. They put all of the Bilibos together and use them as stepping stones. Love them.

Thanks! I think this will be on my 10 month old's christmas list. If it is a huge hit, his brother can get one for his birthday in February!

My sister bought one for my DS's 3rd birthday. He is now 6, and ALL the kids play with it including my oldest who will be 13 soon. :lmao: We bought anoher one to go with it a couple of months later. It is definitely a toy that kids use for the imagination, much like play silks and learning towers, but mine really get thier use out of them!
