Bike Rental Questions - WL to FW

Hiya,

DFi and I will be staying at Pop Century but are planning a day of bike rentals from WL so I have some questions (bear with me please )

1 - I presume (but just want to be sure!!) that even tho' we are not staying in WL we can still hire from there....

2 - Any idea how much for adult rentals?

3 - Do you *have* to wear helmets?

4 - If you have to wear helmets can you hire them too?

5 - If you have to wear helmets do they have large sizes?

6 - How long roughly does the route take between WL and FW at a nice pace? Is it a nice route and good for photos (DFi is a keen photographer of wildlife/birds)?

7 - Anything else we should know??

I'll try and answer your questions

Yes you may rent a bicycle if your not staying at WL.

When we rent we ride over to Ft Wilderness Petting Zoo. We have had time to bike, visit the stables & zoo then return to the Lodge within 1 hour.


Bicycles
Mongoose bikes of various sizes
$4.02 1/2 hour or $8.00 a hour, $22.10 a day.
Surrey Bikes
$18.00 1/2 hour-2 Seater
$22.00 1/2 hour-4 Seater
*Helmets must be worn by those 16 years old or younger

They have the helmets available in all sizes, no additional charge.
