My WOO-HOO is signing up for the Donald Half Marathon in January! Even though I feel alternately terrified and excited, I'm feeling really good about being able to do this. And I step back and look at the big picture and realize that I *never* would have done something like this before. I'm inspired - by all of you and by what I've been able to accomplish. I'll be 40 this summer, and I've never been in better shape.

Here's my other WOO-HOO...I found out yesterday that I'm one of 200 semifinalists for the Dr. Oz Transformation Nation prize. I had a phone interview, wrote a short essay, sent some info, and now I wait to see if I'm one of the final 50. That alone will blow my mind; I don't know what I'll do if I end up in the final 10 and have to go to NYC for the show! It was some nice validation, though. I'm trying not to think about it too much...
